These great rustic cabins are perfect for those needing a place to crash after a day of exploring the Davis Mountains. Our family of 4 stayed in the 2 bed cabin. All have a little kitchenette with a mini fridge and coffee maker. Perfect for storing sandwich fixings and breakfast needs. It also has a small bathroom with a potty...

Clean, comfortable, wifi, short drive to everywhere in Fort Davis/Marfa/Alpine area. My family of four was happy to relax here after a day of hiking. Beds were very comfortable. Will stay here again for sure.

Came late in day so never had a chance to meet owners who had left key in the door for us. Room was very clean and simple with all the furnishings you need. Beds very comfortable and Heating/AC worked fine. The only reason this is not a 5 star is we had a bit to much noise coming from whoever...

We booked a few nights stay at Mountain Trails Lodge when the weather was too cold for tent camping. The cabins easily accommodate a family of four and the use of the common space grill and kitchenette made for a camping like feel. Cabins were clean and comfortable. The lodge is only about a ten minute drive to Davis Mtns...

Mountain Trails Lodge is always great. Very simple cabins but extremely clean and comfortable. Quiet and close to Fort Davis and a 30 minute drive to either Alpine or Marfa. Sit outside at night and view the amazing sky. Give Mountain Trails Lodge a try you will not be disappointed.

Very impressed and loved this place. Very nice and quite location. Room was well cleaned, bed was comfortable, room was cooled down prior to our arrival, and had our basic necessities. Bathroom was small and it was actually nice not having a TV in the room. It was nice to sit on the porch and enjoy the beauty of nature....

Nice clean room, queen size bed, good linen, pillows, shower, small frig, couple of recliners, reading lights, NO TV, NO PHONE, I would pay extra for that. Comfortable for one or two people. Free internet if you must. Stay in units that look out at the mountains, glorious sunset, from small deck. Sunrise from the parking area. Quiet surroundings.Parking at...

Quieter than expected considering close to road. Didn't have neighbors on other side of duplex cabin so can't comment on that. All in all decent place to rest after active days hiking. Liked having fridge, coffepot, microwave and storage. Bathroom VERY small. Only sink in kitchenette area. If you like to sleep late don't get east facing room. Upon arrival...

Facility was clean, well cared for and easy! The bed was very comfortable which was an unexpected bonus. We only wish we had packed our camp chairs as the night sky was incredible, might have sat out all night. Our mistake was not stopping by the unit after checking in to turn on the air con. When we arrived after...

Wonderful place to stay - very little noise from the road and plenty of space in the room for one or two people. There is no bathtub, and as previous reviews have mentioned, the kitchen sink doubles as the bathroom sink, but if showers are okay, you're good to go. Wi-fi reception is excellent and not to be taken for...
