The house is old and so charming. My husband and I came for one of our honeymoon nights and were so sad we only booked a single night! The room was beautiful and we sat by the window enjoying the breeze. They really put a lot of thought into all the rooms and decor to make them unique. Even aside...

Pam and David greeted us for our one night stay. Our room was on the third floor and had an extra bedroom that we didn't need and a nice sitting area that we enjoyed reading in. It also had a gas fireplace that we used for the ambiance. The breakfast was very nice and we enjoyed the conversation with two...

This is one of the cleanest and we'll cared for bed & breakfasts we have stayed in. This is our second stay at Rose River. The rooms are spacious and well accomodated. The innkeepers even think of the little things, like cotton balls and q-tips in the bathroom, and fresh filtered water and glasses in the room. We will come...

The proprietor is delightful and an excellent cook. The rooms look exactly like they do in the photos. We opted for the room with the sitting deck outside, and it was a real treat to sit there, read a book, and enjoy the fresh air and the view. The house is surrounded by beautiful roses creating a peaceful atmosphere even...

We stayed in the Sunflare room and could have enjoyed our entire visit watching the shore and overlooking the town from our room. Breakfast was delicious and more food than we could eat. The innkeepers provided great recommendations on sights to see and things to do.

Wonderful B&B, delicious breakfast, spacious room, perfect location + a rose heist. The room was bigger then most B&B's we've stayed in, plenty of space in the room, plus a large common space & dinning room. Everyone had big windows, plenty of daylight and beautiful views of the historic town or river. The location is ideal, very easy walk to...

After 4 nights in Portland, we spent 6 wonderful nights in Astoria at the Rose River Inn. We've been to a number of B&Bs around the country and we absolutely loved the Rose River Inn (and Astoria)! If we ever find our way in Astoria again -- we'll be there! Pam and David were friendly, helpful and gracious hosts, and...

We were greeted at the door by David, our host, and were given the choice of two rooms. We chose the larger room toward the back of the house that included a little closed in porch for $10 more. The views to the river were quite nice and the flowering trees were stunning. We enjoyed nice views and good weather...

From the very first greeting at the front door by David and Pam to the morning breakfast, our hosts did an excellent job. The room was very clean and cozy. The location is close to downtown but still very peaceful. We had our windows open all night and enjoyed a cool breeze with no sounds of traffic. The breakfast was...

My husband and I stayed here for two nights whilst visiting the area from the UK. This was our second visit to Astoria and we really love the Town. I agree with all the other reviews reguarding the lovely room we occupied here. No complaints on that score. I was however really disappointed by breakfast. vegetable quiche although probably very...

First, thank you for your review. I would like to state that on my website it informs you of what will be served at breakfast. I try to serve a healthy breakfast of fresh fruit, granola, yogurt and an egg dish. I do not prepare a "sweet" or "fatty" breakfast. She was offered other things, but said she was full...
