We stayed 4/21 and 4/22/17. This Inn is what seasoned travelers look for. #1 the friendliest owner and staff. Val is so sweet and an accomplished cook. Kim was wonderful and also a great cook. #2 This Inn is as clean as you can get, so well maintained. Both breakfasts were terrific. The rooms are even nicer then the website...

Our stay at the Journey Inn coincided with the worst blizzard anyone could remember (March 13 - 16, 2017). So it's impossible for me to review the Journey Inn without telling the story of The Blizzard - and how it affected our stay. There we were, up from North Carolina to take in the many attractions Hyde Park has to...

That was a memorable blizzard - and we were the lucky innkeepers that had you both as guests. For whatever we did to make your unexpected experience a pleasant one - it was such a pleasure having you stay with us during the biggest storm we have seen in over 20 years! We were so surprised by the amount of...

This was our 2nd visit to Journey Inn and it was as good or better than the previous visit - and that would be hard to top! The room was clean, comfortable and well appointed. The two communal living rooms are very inviting. While there, we met a young couple who on a pre-wedding get-away weekend and had a great...

We were so glad to get your last minute call to come back to the Inn. We had such a great group that weekend! We try very hard to be there for the guests, but not intrude on their holiday time - so we thank you for noticing the balancing game we attempt. It is nice to know it works....

We took a spontaneous trip to the Hudson River Valley -March 2017. Our reservations were confirmed immediately via email. When we arrived we were met and warmly greeted by innkeepers Valerie and Eric, who gave us a tour of their lovely B&B before showing us to our comfortable room. They gave us an excellent recommendation for dinner in nearby Rheinbeck...a...

We are so glad you were spontaneous and came to visit us! Thank you for taking the time to let us know how much you enjoyed your stay. The area offers such great food and shopping, besides all the historic sites - that you must come back. And the Vanderbilt Estate will still be here for a lovely stroll on...

The Journey Inn provided the perfect location for us to explore the Culinary Institute, the FDR Home & Museum and the town of Rhinebeck. The accommodations are great - we stayed in the Vanderbilt suite which was beautiful and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and Eric and Valerie were wonderful hosts who made us feel at home immediately. Highly recommend the...

Thank you for taking the time to let us know how much you enjoyed your stay. We are blessed with a great location for the CIA, FDR, and Vanderbilt estate - but also we are within 1 hour of ALL the Hudson Valley has to offer. Our hearty breakfasts help keep you going for all the sightseeing and hiking in...

This B&B is an absolute gem! We had such a relaxing stay. The property is close to the Vanderbilt estate which was nice for a long scenic walk. The owners Valerie and Eric are just awesome. Valerie is an amazing cook- our brunch was outstanding!

Thank you so much for letting us know how much you enjoyed your stay with us. Even during the winter months, it is so nice to have a place to take long walks so close to the Inn - and to take in those amazing views of the Hudson river and the Catskills. We do offer a hearty breakfast for...

If you are in Hyde Park to visit FDR's home or the Culinary Institute of America I encourage you to stay here. The other choices are nowhere near as quaint and accommodating. Valerie and Eric are great hosts.

And it was delightful having you at the Inn. Glad you told us you were taking a Culinary Institute of America Boot Camp class - so we could extend our discount program for attendees. The boot camp schedules allow you a chance to see the sites as well as take the class or just take a nap at the Inn...

My daughters and I enjoyed a wonderful stay at Journey Inn. The innkeepers Valerie and Eric truly enjoy making guests feel right at home. The rooms are comfortable and very attractive. The Inn is immaculate with much attention to the little details. We will definitely stay there again and I highly recommend this to anyone looking in the area.

We visited Hyde Park in order to see the Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelt homes and museums, and the Vanderbilt Mansion. We loved the Journey Inn: it's across the road from the Vanderbilt Mansion, and a short distance from the FDR home and Val-Kill and is itself a lovely house. The rooms are very comfortable and nicely decorated. Most rooms have...

And it was terrific serving you. We are so pleased you choose us for your visit to the Roosevelt and Vanderbilt homes. While all of our rooms have private baths, we do have 2 rooms with baths across the hall - they are great options as the baths are a bit larger. Our breakfasts do allow for lovely conversations and...

My wife and I stayed at this wonderful B&B for a few days in November to take advantage of its proximity to the area's attractions (the Vanderbilt Estate, Roosevelt Library, and Culinary Institute). Thank you - it was fantastic for us to host you too! We want the Journey Inn to feel like a real home but with the little luxuries you get an an Inn. Our location make us a great choice for a Hudson Valley vacation, and we work hard to keep up with the culinary expectations of the area. We...
