My husband and I recently stayed at this Inn for the 7th time since 2007. We go back every year because we have never had a single bad experience, and every time we go, we fall deeper in love with the place. It is the Inn and it's owners and staff that keep us coming back every October. We love...

We recently enjoyed a week long tour of Civil War battlefields from Gettysburg to Appomattox with a one night stay in Gettysburg at the Brickhouse Inn. Like many B&B's the property was lovely and the food very good. What made it memorable for us were the hosts, Brian and Tessa, who were warm, knowledgeable and delightful conversationalists. The B&B is...

Staying at the Brickhouse Inn is a truly memorable experience. This was my third stay and as always Tessa and Brian and their staff make my stay so warm and welcoming and as always it exceeds my expectations. Everything about the Brickhouse Inn makes you feel like you are stepping back in history and compliments so well the surrounding enormity...

We stayed at this B&B for only one night, but it was the most restorative and relaxing of our entire two week vacation. The inn keepers were helpful and kind and the room was small but comfortable. The highlights were the location--in the downtown historic district, very close to great shops and restaurants--and the breakfast. A three course breakfast? That...

The inn is both charming and historic, well appointed, very comfortable, very inviting, centrally located. Our room was actually used by Confederate sharpshooters during the assault on Culp's Hill...bullet scars and all! Brian and Tessa are the consummate hosts, kind, accommodating, informative, attentive. The staff was efficient and, for the most part, unseen. Things were just "done". Breakfasts were delicious!...

We're so glad you liked the Inn, and the Kentucky Room in particular - the bullet scars on the porch do make it very special! As you say, Gettysburg can be an overpowering experience. The town and the Battlefield are steeped in historical significance. We're very pleased to know that you might come back - we would love to see...

This was our first experience at the Brickhouse Inn and it more than exceeded our expectations. The location is perfect - right in the center of things so you can walk. The rooms were well equipped and very clean. The grounds, even in early November, were lovely and the food was excellent. Our hosts were helpful and so very interesting...

Every aspect of our 1 night stay was perfect!!!!! We cannot wait to return. Our Kentucky room was immaculate, comfortable and beautiful!!! The electric fireplaces were not only romantic but provided great heat. My husband enjoyed reading on our own balcony. Breakfast was so very delicious.

We stayed at the Brickhouse Inn last June. This Inn is very beautiful and historic. We stayed in the Delaware Room just off the beautiful gardens. The room was very clean and comfortable. We had our own front porch so we could sit and watch everything going on on Baltimore Street. We sat outside for breakfasts which were wonderful. Would...

Thank you for writing the review. We're glad you liked the Delaware Room - it's a favorite of many guests, and, as you said you can sit on the front porch and watch the 'passing show' on Baltimore Street. Also, the back door opens onto the patio, which is nice in the summer. Glad you enjoyed the breakfasts outside. We...

Thanks so much for coming back, even though the park was closed because of the 'shut-down'. As you said, there was still a lot open and plenty to do. And thanks for coming back again, it was great to see you again, and we'd love to see you in the Spring. In the meantime, take care of yourselves! Our best...

Located right in the heart of cemetery hill, the area is quite historic, the inn is cozy and the owners are very helpful in helping plan an itinerary. Breakfast was an apple, chutney french toast. Really terrific! They helped arrange for a tour guide who drove us around in our own vehicle. He was extremely knowledgeable. PS One of the...

Thanks for taking the trouble to write a review - much valued because you are evidently experienced travelers. We're glad you liked the Inn and enjoyed your tour of the Battlefield. It's a pleasure to arrange for a guide to meet guests at the Inn - as you say, they are very knowledgeable, and it's by far the best way...
