This is a very beautiful and historical B&B located on a beautiful (still working) farm. Everything is beautifully furnished beds are very comfortable, and every morning you are served a lovely breakfast by people in authentic costume followed by a wonderful historical discussion by a "soldier". When i visited i stayed in their newly renovated "Tack Room" because i was...

I decided to surprise my sister with a grand weekend in Gettysburg at the end of February. My husband and I and stayed there back 2006. Since then the inn has added the "Tack room", I cant say enough about this room. It was a magical oasis surrounded in the rich history of Gettysburg. We arrived on February 21, 2014,...

This B&B was a standout due to its proximity to the Gettysburg battlefields and its pet friendliness. Accessed by a bumpy road off the highway, you first see the 19th century barn and quickly find out that this is still a working farm. Our suite was everything we'd hoped for - beautifully furnished and comfortable, with a view to the...

I truly enjoyed this B&B. I spent three wonderful nights at this place and enjoyed every single moment. Everything went well, from the warm personalized welcome by Bill and Cookie, to Bill’s ghost stories on Friday night, to Gerry´s history lessons before breakfast, to the actual wonderful (and huge) breakfasts by chef Jericca. I stayed at the Graham’s Battery room...

Me and my dog Navarre stayed at the Battlefield B&B this past weekend for 2 nights and LOVED it! We came for the Lincoln in Gettysburg weekend and attended the dinner at the Dobbin House. All I can say is fantastic! This was my first time at a B&B and was utterly impressed. The place is beautiful and relaxing. We...

We visited Gettysburg for a long weekend and our daughter and son-in-law (and our 2 year old granddaughter), who have stayed here a few time before, joined us (actually, I guess we joined them). While the young folks enjoyed a ski vacation nearby, we got to watch and play with our granddaughter. As you can imagine, that's always a special...

From the beginning of your stay you will feel like you have come to the home of a close friend. The rooms are warm and inviting. The staff go beyond being kind and helpful by offering advice and recommendations to the local attractions and restaurants. There is a ghost story time with the owner, Florence each night at 8pm. She...

My husband and I along with our youngest daughter stayed in the General Merritt Suite on December 15, 2013, for a 25th anniversary celebration. It was our sixth time staying at the inn, and our second time staying in the General Merritt Suite. The suite was just as beautiful as we remembered, and the gas fireplace so warm and cozy....

We had a lovely two nights at his lovely bed and breakfast. We had a late reservation so we did not get a choice on rooms. Our room was above the kitchen and it became rather loud early in the morning when they cooked breakfast. It was a delicious breakfast. It is reportedly a haunted location as many are said...

Thank you for your feedback. I'm glad you enjoyed your stay. I will speak with the breakfast staff and remind them to be more mindful of the guests near the kitchen. We need to know so I'm glad you mentioned this. Hopefully, it won't be a problem in the future.

We just spent three nights at the Battlefield B&B and we very pleaded! The kids cannot wait to return, and that certainly says something. From the minute we arrived until the time we left, everyone was very friendly, helpful and pleasant. I cannot say enough about the staff! The location is one the battlefield and the grounds are wonderful. Note...

We do enjoy families. We make it a point to consider the needs of all our guests and I'm glad that the children had a good time. We rarely have a morning without a history program, so if for some reason, the historian has to cancel at the last minute, you are welcome to stop by on a different morning...
