We reserved both the Lincoln Suite and the California Suite for our family vacation. When we arrived, Alexandra and George graciously welcomed us. They were very attentive to any of our needs and shared about the area, restaurants, and points of interest. Heidi and Olive are adorable and friendly. Our rooms were decorated beautifully in the themes named. The Lincoln...

My husband and I spent several days in September in the "purple" room and found the room very comfortable! The shower was always hot and had great water pressure! The owners, George and Alexandra, are exceptional hosts. They took the time to give us tips, suggestions and lent us books to read so that we got the most out of...

My wife and I stayed at the Raphael Inn over Labor Day weekend and had an amazing stay. Alexandra and George were wonderful hosts who made sure we were equipped with all the information (tips for restaurants, maps, etc...) that we would need to have a fun and eventful stay. My wife is a vegan and they made sure that...

Warm, quaint, wonderful (and comfortable rooms) ~ met at the door when we first arrived by Alexandra (and sweet dogs Heidi and Olive) and were given all the information our brains could possibly hold to ponder for the next three day's activities. We were greeted enthusiastically each morning at the bottom of the stairs by the puppies, and presented with...

The Raphael Inn is special! This unique B&B is run by Alexandra & George and the 2 "wonder dogs" Heidi and Olive and you immediately feel the love and devotion that permeates the premises! The rooms are nicely decorated, comfortable and very clean. The largest room is the California Rose Suite in the front of the house which is on...

In a word: wonderful. After several days on the road (New York to Alabama, and back), Gettysburg was the last stop on a journey visiting Civil War battlefields where my great-great-grandfather's regiment was engaged. Initially I chose the Raphael Inn because of its proximity to the first day battle-sites. I was delightfully surprised by the care of my hosts for...

My husband and I went to the Raphael Inn as inn guests and left feeling we had made new friends. You will be hard pressed to find a warmer, more gracious couple than owners George and Alexandra. We’ve done numerous B&Bs over the years and have been in some very upscale ones. But, the Raphael Inn will probably top our...
