Beautiful, old, quaint, charming, historic rooms, buildings, and courtyard Service was excellent. Decor was olds but to be excellent in that type of hotel. Coffee maker was not working properly. All amenities needed were supplied. Convenient to Wills Eye, Jefferson, medical offices, restaurants and shopping. Definitely would stay there again.

We went there on a week night because we were attending a whiskey tasting at the Phila Art museum. What a gem, I grew up in Delaware Co and never knew this place existed. Everyone was helpful, friendly and fun. We met the owner carrying flowers to the restaurant. He couldn't have been nicer. The rooms were immaculate, the restaurant...

Breakfast was included & 4 PM complimentary glass of wine. There's a lovely sitting room with a fireplace (light of course). We stayed in the winter...

Our room was very clean and well furnished but very small for the price. The sitting area downstairs was beautifully decorated and a cozy place to read in front of the gas fireplace. The...

The Morris House is a beautifully-restored and maintained Eighteenth-Century house, and adapted for use as a hotel with all the modern amenities. The public rooms are all faithful to the period, while the overnight rooms are an eclectic blend of old and new. All in all, it's charming, and the M restaurant that is a few feet away functions both...

I was here for a 4-day meeting. My room was really nice and I loved both the setting and the amenities. I had been forewarned that there was no elevator, but by day 3 with my room on third floor, I began to be sorry that it was a 1787 restoration. That being said, all of the other modernities were...

We got to the hotel by 11AM. They told us to leave the luggage downstairs and we could go back at night that everything would be taken care off. We arrived at night and our luggage was still downstairs. Breakfast had cold coffee and I was invited to have it in the microwave. And all the used dishes took time...
