It is in a perfect location to explore Philadelphia. It is located in the middle of Independence National Historical Park. A lot of restaurants are within walking distance. My only problem was I had to ask for a small soap bar on the third night ( staying for 3 nights with no refill on any bathroom toiletry - lotion and...

Stayed for business. Quiet room with very post-modern design. My view overlooked the plaza. Comfy bed. Got a good night's sleep. Well appreciated. Bath was clean with nice amenities. Like the mandarin orange soap! Hotel staff is congenial and welcoming.

I had a wonderful 4 night stay at the Monaco this October. I was in town for a wedding and also to do some tourist activities with family and friends. Hagen was very communicative with emails when I needed help modifying my reservations. His staff were very helpful at check in, Patrick and Greg greeted us and directed our attention...

Located just steps from the Liberty Bell and other significant historical attraction in the old town area, the hotel (like most Kimptons) is fun and modern. The reception is area is very cool, with Japanese paintbrushes mounted on the wall behind reception (an odd choice, but it strangely works). The hotel also has a trendy and popular rooftop bar. WiFi...

This was my first trip to Philadelphia and my room was booked by my employer. However, if I ever traveled to Philadelphia again I would definitely recommend the Hotel Monaco. Great location, right in the heart of the historic district. The room was very comfortable with a nice work desk. Not to mention a comfy bed after a long work...

I'm a big fan of Kimpton hotels anyway, but this one exceeded my already-high expectations. The location - right across the street from Independence Hall - couldn't be better, our suite (we got an upgrade) was gigantic (caveat: the furnishings are a wee bit 70s), and the staff was as friendly and helpful as always. My only quibble is that...

Funky cool vibe with a little over the top decor. I love Kimpton properties. Service is always super duper. The room #212 is over sized. Giant spa bathroom. And this location is amazing. If you need easy access to touristy activities, stay here. I also heard the rooftop bar was amazing but we did not visit. We had a busy...
