Detailed Reviews
The worst hotel you can book. Truly, I didn’t want to spend a lot on a hotel for my sister and I who were in town for a concert. We were late to check in (around 5:00) and when we got to the room, the bathroom had hair all over it. Additionally, this hotel says it has parking, do not believe this. We got back to the hotel at around 10:30 and tried to enter their “secure” lot. the gate would not open so I called the desk and asked why, and they said it was full but to park across the street in a chilis parking lot. Which was not monitored and in fact had a sign saying vehicles would be towed.
I parked, we went in and I told the front desk person that we didn’t feel comfortable parking across the street and we were so grossed out by our room that we wanted a refund, as we were not staying there with the idea of our car being towed in the morning. She said they’d call the next day to issue the refund but they have not. I also tried to call and there is no way to talk to anyone on the phone. My sister and I drove 5 hours home that night to avoid staying here and got home at 4am. Worst hotel experience we’ve ever had.

The best thing about this hotel is the location and the desk staff. The hotel itself needs to be condemned. Like many others have stated there’s no hot water so good luck with that. The room I was put in had lamps with missing bulbs, an odd odor, a halfway finished bathroom, and bed bugs. The missing bulbs thing I could handle. Everything else was nightmare-ish. I later found out that the strong odor was from them spraying for bed bugs which I found out because I woke up from a nap to them having me for a midnight snack. The desk staff was nice but the overall experience was traumatizing. I was sent to an affiliated hotel The Golfers Inn where when I asked about a refund for my stay I was told to leave and that I could go back to the other hotel if I wanted a refund. The expectation was that I quietly take a room there and not talk about my experience. It was so very bizarre. Pics will show the room I was in, manager’s name, proof of bed bugs, and where I was sent. Good luck and Happy Trails!

I only have two positive comments for this location. The first is that the front desk staff in the evening are very nice and helpful. The second is that the hotel and my room was very clean. One plus is that there is shopping center across the street with an ACME market and several places to eat, since there is no breakfast at this hotel. A Starbucks is within a couple of minutes walk. I opted for this hotel instead of my regular choices because of the low cost and high review ratings. I regretted my decision immediately. The hotel decor is tacky, and in no way inviting. It looks like a children's hospital, and not in a good way. The parking is impossible on the weekends as there are very few spots. People were making their own parking spots. It turns out that you can park across the street at Chili's, but the front desk doesn't tell you this when you check in. I wasted an hour waiting for someone to leave until I got fed up and called the front desk to ask if there was a parking lot nearby. So once you park across the street, you get to walk by all the lovely teenagers and vagrants hanging out at the gas station next door. As far as I know, I paid $10 a night for parking but never parked at the hotel. The room itself was very clean, but had the same garish paint scheme. The heater was very loud and would sometimes wake me when it would cycle on. The walls are paper thin. I could hear my neighbors conversation as if they were speaking through an open door, and they weren't even noisy. I was on the top floor at the end of the hallway so at least I didn't have more rooms against or above me. Plenty of hot water, but poor water pressure. I really considered leaving after the first morning, but I had prepaid my 3 night stay and moving to another hotel was just too expensive.

I enjoyed my stay at the Philly Inn & Suites last week. It’s a beautiful place and very clean. The staff is warm and pleasant and provides excellent customer service. In fact, the hotel is under new ownership and management so everything was recently remodeled. There are brand new tile floors, carpets, brightly painted walls, and lighting and window treatments in the lobby and guest rooms. Also, there is new bedroom furniture and a nice size television with many cable channels in every guest room. This hotel has reasonable rates and is in a convenient, safe location with easy onsite parking. I will definitely stay there again.

I have no idea of why this is a 2 star hotel. I've stayed at 3 or 4 star hotels that didn't have staff that was that invested in my well-being. In fact, the bigger the hotel, the less staff seem to care. This one was cozier.
I arrived 40 minutes earlier and they let me check in anyway and when I had a problem with hot water it was solved very fast. Great staff.
The decoration is cheerful, gives you a hostel vibe and I love it. Anyone who complains about their decoration is probably a person who lives in a dull HOA home 😆
My room was VERY clean and that is one of the things that matter the most for me.
It's a 30min bus drive to Philly center, and public transportation was fast even on Sundays.
If I ever come back to Philadelphia, I'll book here again.

I really enjoyed my stay at Philly Inn & Suites and there are many reasons why. The main reason is the very friendly staff! All of the front desk agents and maids answered any questions I had or any issue I had (remote issue). The decor is absolutely amazing and they offer a very convenient location to restaurants, shopping, and gas. The rooms are very clean, beds are very comfortable, and there is plenty of linens and toiletries available! It is a quiet location with little to no traffic sounds even though it's right on a highway. I had absolutely no issues with the hotel at all and if I visit Philadelphia again I will book with this hotel again!

My husband and I stayed from 4/4-4/7, 2024
The staff was great, very helpful, friendly, caring, welcomed you like family. We had a mishap happen with our original hotel, they had one room left and luckily we were able to get it with being over 4 hours from home. This was our first trip ever to Philly, we both have done said we will definitely stay here again. It was easy to get ubers into downtown and back, staff answered all of our questions, overall stay was great. We stayed in the standard king room, it had a mini-fridge, microwave, and keurig coffee maker. The parking has a gate you have to have put up to come in and leave through.

I stayed in this hotel for a few days with my two kids and we absolutely LOVED the experience. The staff was welcoming and made us feel at home (my kids looked forward to seeing them every morning). The price was incredibly reasonable especially considering others in the area. The room was pristine and clean, which is perfect since my 11 month old wanted to crawl everywhere. The decor was bright and cheerful. The bed was comfortable. For me, one of the best parts is that as someone with very sensitive skin, staying in hotels can be tricky since the detergents used can irritate my skin. But we stayed for a few days and I've had zero skin issues, which is incredible. We're planning on staying there again during our next visit.

The front desk staff - exceptional. Friendly, attentive, and present. You can't get this kind of service at the hotels in Center City. They even made popcorn and offered us each a bottle of water. Clean hotel at a great price. Parking is tight, but it looks like they are working on it. Get in early because Friday and Saturday night, they filled up fast. The restaurants next door were great. Convenience store is right next door. We will be staying here again. The front desk staff really made a great impression.

Recently visited Philadelphia, for a family gathering and we picked this location because it was central for everyone. Had a great experience, the place is beautiful and clean, nicely maintained, staff was very pleasant and courteous, definitely coming back to this awesome place on my next trip to philly. Recommended to anyone thinking of a pleasant place to lodge whilst in the area.
