We really enjoyed staying at Kimpton Hotel Palomar. The rooms were newly updated and had a fun vibe. The hotel amenities were nice. Lots of good eats and shopping with in walking distance. We enjoyed the fire place located in the lobby.

Martha L - The fire place is great, our lobby definitely wouldn't be the same without it. And you are absolutely right, virtually any store you can imagine is around the corner and the restaurant scene is endless! Don't be a stranger. Regards, Pete

Was in town for the weekend to celebrate our anniversary. We have stayed at the Palomar before and have always had an excellent experience. The staff is wonderful and always pleasant and helpful. The location is also really nice. Easy walking distance to great restaurants and bars. Would definitely stay at the Palomar again.

Stayed here for one night before seeing Luke Bryan at the BB&T pavillion. The hotel was beautifully appointed. The hotel room was of a good size and provided all the amenities you would expect of a hotel with this reputation. The hotel is definitely stylish and the lobby is impressive. I would recommend this hotel

I booked this hotel through hotels.com and it is one of the few hotels in the city that has both a Jacuzzi tub option and wine happy hour (5-6 p.m. every day). Check-in was very easy and the room was beautiful. The Jacuzzi tub was huge and exactly what I wanted. The staff were very friendly and we had our...

Yorky M - To my knowledge, we are the ONLY hotel in Philly that has both a jacuzzi tub option and free happy hour. However, challenge accepted, if someone else has it, I will find it! I am glad everything worked out as planned for you and hope you can swing through for another visit soon. Regards, Pete

Stayed for a weekend getaway and loved it. Not a single complaint. We took advantage of many amenities - daily happy hour, our spa tub, and room service for breakfast. Room service, as expected, was pricey, but delicious. The room was super comfortable and the location is perfect for much of what philly has to offer. I would highly recommend!

OhThePlacesIWillGo - I believe for all the places that you go, all the hotels should be Kimpton and then you won't go wrong with the places... On a different note, thank you so much for the wonderful comments and I hope you'll make it back to the City of Brotherly Love soon! Regards, Pete

The Hotel Palomar is lovely. The décor is very contemporary with a hint of quirkiness. The staff, everyone from valet who greeted us to workers who happened to share an elevator with us, smiled and said hello /happy New Year. Warning, if you don’t like animals this is not the place for you; BUT if you love dogs (and cats)...

JC F - A 5-star post delayed is better than no 5-star post at all! So glad you were able to ring in the new year with us (Auld Lang Syne). Being pet friendly is a Kimpton staple and we are happy to accommodate any animal that can fit through the front door. Thanks again and come back soon (before...

in Philly for a consult at Children's Hospital -- a quick 10 minute drive across the river, so location was great. Love the Palomar! Lots of character, great responsive service, easy valet parking and bell service. Friendly and helpful staff. Very comfortable room (stayed in the 1 bedroom suite, sitting room was great for our daughter and the baby, our...

Elizabeth V - The spa tub is hard NOT to love and I am so glad your family was able to enjoy it! We are lucky to be partnered with Square 1682 as they have definitely established themselves as a local favorite in addition to being our adjacent restaurant. Looking forward to the next visit! Stayed over just for one night in December. The hotel is well located and clean, with a lovely warming atmosphere when you arrive. Found the room to be huge and similar to the Washington Palomar, well decorated and modern. I struggled sleeping on the evening however due to noise from the street. We were on the 6th floor and still...

In town for a recent show at the Kimmel center, we decided to get a hotel overnight and avoid driving home late in the evening. After some searching and price-checking, I decided on the Kimpton Hotel. The description was intriguing, it was within walking distance of the places we wanted to go, and a room with king-size bed and spa...

I stayed here 3 nights while traveling for work. Pros: convenient location, comfortable beds, complimentary happy hour in the lobby, "hipster" feel. Cons: street noise for low level rooms, slow wifi, small rooms.

BND0131 - Thanks for the comments. I promise I don't qualify as a "hipster" and definitely fit right in around this hotel but you are on to something that are design is more unique than your average hotel. Sorry to hear about the wifi, we recently just doubled our bandwidth so I will definitely be looking in to this more...
