Love this hotel. Stayed here a few times and it is always great. Outstanding location and service. This was an old YMCA bldg that has been renovated into a modern bldg but still retains its old charm. Parking is a little expensive but self park at the convention center on Arch and basically walk across the street to the hotel.

Location: The hotel is on Broad Street a block north of City Hall and its subway stop and two blocks east of Suburban Station which has Regional Rail and the trolley. Two blocks north is the Race/Vine Broad Street stop and a few blocks to the east is Independence Hall and Reading Terminal Market and the Convention Center. Chinatown is...

Spent a night here with my family from Italy. We wanted to roam around Philadelphia to see everything it had to offer. It was very sleek, clean and friendly. Old with character on the outside with a modern twist on the inside. I really liked how when you would walk in it was the bar directly in front of you...

Stayed here for a week for a convention. The convention center is next door so that was convenient. I didn't have much contact with the staff other than the doormen, but they were very pleasant each and every time. Check in was quick and easy.Rooms were clean. Some were larger than others. There's a nice sitting area on the 5th...

Really enjoyed the stay here. The rooms were quiet and well appointed. The decor is very chic. Gym was acceptable, not huge, but had most equipment. The location is right in the middle of almost everything downtown. Easy walks to most things you'd like to see. Bar was modern and busy. Service at the front desk and valet was top...

It's a modern looking hotel in a good location which fails to impress overall. I think in trying to revive an old building and turning it into a hotel, with strange hallways and odd layouts, they lost sight of what they are - a hotel and not piece of art. The service is great and folks are super friendly but...

Atkahuna Thank you for sharing your thoughts and acknowledging our great and friendly service. I do apologize for the water pressure, that's a very rare occurrence in our hotel and I will get our maintenance team to look into this issue. I apologize that the structure didn't appeal to you. When restoring an old building that was not originally designed...

stayed for 4 nights... first time in this location- it was secured through hotwire, so it wasn't chosen on purpose. pros: -a great shower. well, at least the water temp and head pressure. the tub drain was constantly clogged and even a short shower quickly filled the tub to ankle depth. -super comfortable bed - a really quiet room. part...

5252, Thank you for sharing your experience. I am glad you enjoyed our super comfortable beds, quiet rooms and of course free water. As you noted our location is central to all things and yes Philadelphia like every major urban area has its share of less fortunate living on the streets. While sometimes uncomfortable, both the city and community do...

The building used to be a YMCA so it’s a fun and unique space. The decorations are great, too, and the rooms are comfortable! The hotel is within walking distance to many fun things and restaurants. They have an awesome bar with friendly staff, too!

Wonderful central location for teen granddaughters. Quick service by room staff for extra towels and bath amenities. Twisted ankle (or so I thought until I got home 3 weeks later and learned I'd been walking 5 miles a day on a break) on city sidewalk. Staff settled me on restaurant banquet with bags of ice and a wheelchair to keep...

I was looking forward to the stay here because I read it was a nice hotel. We got the room for a great price at the AAA rate and it was easily accessible to the Convention Center and Reading Terminal Market. However I was a little disappointed in the stay. First, our room did not have a tub, only a...
