This is a superb B&B. The owners kept the furniture and decor consistent with the Victorian era. The owners, Rick and Cesar, make you feel at home. The location is close to everything. I highly recommend it.

Our family stayed at Gambles during a trip for my daughter's college visit. The beautiful Victorian house is conveniently located at University City area in Philadelphia. This historical building was nicely renovated, with Victorian charm, and modern convenience. Cesar is very friendly and accommodating. Sugar is super cute. The breakfast was delicious. The cookies, tea and coffee that was always...

I was looking for that special weekend away to make me forget the stress of everyday routines. I found it, perfectly at the Gables B&B. Simple happiness. The home was full of beauty and warmth. It was located in a lovely tree lined neighborhood. Peaceful choices like sitting on the wrap-a-round porch enjoying a glass of wine or hopping on...

We have stayed at the Gables twice while visiting our daughter. The hosts are very friendly and welcoming, The breakfast is terrific. Both rooms we have stayed in were very comfortable, well appointed. with comfortable beds. It is conveniently located in West Philly and right on a trolley line to get down town. We recommend it highly.

Had an absolute blast during our stay at 'the Gables'. The property is full of Victorian charm, the details and the decor were just amazing, it's like straight from a movie set. Make it a point to stay at The Gables Bed and Breakfast. Innkeepers Ricky and Cesar go above and beyond what any other establishments offer. The comfort, the consideration, and the kindness they provide can not be understated or even calculated, but be assured that there is nowhere you could feel more at ease than in this enjoyable 19th century...
