Our three-night stay the DoubleTree was fine. It is centrally located in downtown Philadelphia, within walking distance to many restaurants and attractions. There is even a subway entrance right outside the hotel. WiFi was complimentary with our reservation booked on the DoubleTree site, though it was rather difficult to connect to upon our arrival. Our room on the 26th floor...

Dear alviemsw, Thank you for this detailed review of your recent stay. Our apologies for any ambient noise that detracted from a restful sleep. To the left of our fitness center (adjacent to the entrance of the pool) there are two restrooms for changing, one of which has a shower for rinsing off. Please visit Philadelphia again soon.

Location is right in the centre of everything, you can walk to the old city from here and the art museum and rocky steps. Service is great and one of the easiest and fastest check ins I've ever had. Rooms are nice and comfortable. The only quibble really is the small gym and pool which could be better but for...

Room was clean and had a great view of Broad St. in Center City. Bathroom was a bit tight in regard to size, but overall I liked the room. I will say that the w-fi service was below average at best. I was forced to use my data services through my mobile carrier. Likely that I would stay at this...

Thank you for the feedback, Justin V. Our apologies for what must have been a temporary interruption in the strength of the wifi signal in that particular room. We look forward to your next visit to Philadelphia.

The hotel was nice, but the walls were incredibly thin (I was able to hear my neighbors on both sides and they were talking in a normal tone of voice, not yelling or being rowdy). Also, the wi-fi was incredibly unstable. I called multiple times to report the issue, but it was never resolved. The wi-fi would work for a...

Very nice comfortable hotel in a great location. The staff was as friendly as any hotel I have stayed at. I will definitely stay here again the next time I'm in Philadelphia. Only thing I could criticize was the internet connection was slow and a somewhat limited menu in restaurant. However there were countless restaurants within 2-3 blocks. Very pleased...

The hotel rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable. The hotel was situated close to many eateries and the concierge was very helpful in directing me around the area. I also loved that they texted me to check that everything was going well and allowed me to text back if I had a problem. Texting is so much better than trying...

Dear emachall, Thank you for leaving your thoughts here on TripAdvisor. Our digital concierge (texting) service is something that we've just introduced, and our guests love it for the reasons you've mentioned. A simple opt-in during check-in is all that's required, and from there we can meet your needs with an even greater sense of urgency. I hope that you'll...

I am an Hhonors diamond member and appreciate when others comment on how good the lounges are at various hotels (esp if they have complimentary dinners, snacks, and breakfasts or not) so I am commenting on this one. The lounge had great horderves, plenty for an evening meal, and the breakfast was a bit above continental, but no hot items--but...
