Sierra Nevada Resort and Spa is located about 5 miles from Mammoth Mountain, on Old Mammoth Road. It is in close proximity to restaurants, bars, and stores. It has a casual lodge vibe. Our room was clean and comfortable. Our bathroom was recently remodeled. Our shower had good hot water. There was no tub. Toiletries were sufficient. There is no...

We stayed here for two nights. It was nice and quiet. It felt more like a boarding house than a resort. The long hallways and winding stairs concerned us that it is a bit of a fire trap. The comforter was bunchy with all the feathers in a heap. For the price you think they could splurge on new comforters....

Very easy to find! On arrival, the hotel is very clean and easy to access from the street. We arrived several hours before check in, and the receptionist checked if there was a room available and let us check in quite early, which was great because we drove a long distance. The check in was easy, and the receptionist was...

This is the place to stay in mammoth! Beautiful lobby with a fireplace and pool table! Lobby bar and restaurant/bar attached. Hot tub was open until 10pm...perfect after a day on the mountain. Kim at the front desk provided excellent service with a smile. The room was beautiful and cozy. Would recommend to any travelers.

Did a 4 day ski trip and stayed here. Staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and well taken care of. Due to getting 2 feet of snow dumped on us while there, it was a great advantadge to have several different restaurants and other stores within easy walking distance of the facility.

I still think Sierra Nevada Lodge has the best location. Old Mammoth Road with three restaurants on site. Just a block from Von's for groceries, Rite Aid drug store nearby, too. And a tram stop out front. What more could you want? On site ski rental service, a spa, beautiful lobby with a huge fireplace and great morning coffee. Also,...

The room smelled like mold, there were ice on the inside of the windows because of bad insulation, everything in the room was old and disgusting, mattresses felt like cement. I will NEVER stay here again worst hotel ever.

Love this hotel. It's hands down the best, from the minute you walk in you are greeted by a friendly front desk crew. The room is exceptional, the fireplace suite specifically is such a great place to come back to. The heated floors and fireplace are such a bonus! I will for sure be back. If I could give 10...

I go to many hotels for work but the service Summer provide at the front desk was by far the best I have received. She was able to accommodate my early arrival as well as find the reservation that was not in the system. She did it very quick. Great place!!!

Just enjoyed another fab week at the Sierra Nevada. Celebrating their 50th anniversary this year it has an old lodge vibe - with recent updating. Stayed in a Fireplace Suite which feels like a mini cabin with lots of room and mountain decorating details. Kim at the front desk was a joy - knew everything. Been staying there for years.
