We’ve been coming to mammoth for 20+ years and have stayed at Juniper Springs before. The quality of our room 225 Sunstone was so incredibly poor it is a crime that mammoth is charging $842/night, a five star price for a room that is no better than 2 stars. The furniture was so

Our studio (room 208) was very clean and updated. The bed was so comfy and having updated kitchen with appliances and utensils made it easy for us to cook everyday. Good views of the mountain and pool. Parking is underground and easy to get in and out. Lots of buses come and

I stayed there for a week. Two days before my departure the an extracharge was made to my account (for the same value as the entire stay), so I talked to a lady at the front desk at the moment I knew the charge was done but she couldn't tell me nothing except the only charge she

AnxoVAc, Thank you for your recent stay with us. We have been in constant research on this, since you spoke with us directly during your stay. We still do not see a second charge ever submitted from our resort, which is why I have requested you dispute the charge with your bank, as there is nothing further we can do on our end. They can credit you for the error and I have taken the time to note your account for the disputes, which have not yet been received. I do also apologize you could not reach me on my days off when you called. I did have the message from you ringing me, and I did take the time to follow up on our end with our Finance department again, but we have not yet received anything from your bank. The other message I received, did not have a way to contact you, so an email reply was sent upon my return. I do understand from our conversations that your stay was wonderful and you enjoyed the staff and the resort. I would kindly ask you to reconsider the 1-star ranking, as it greatly affects all of the hard work all of our staff members, myself included, put in to insuring the best stay possible, and is indicative only of a billing issue which we have actively worked to rectify. I greatly appreciate your consideration and hope your bank will be able to resolve the issue with this as soon as possible.

Nothing spectacular about the resort except the location. It's right next to Eagle so can't beat it. Rooms however are a bit run down but spacious and comfortable. The refrigerator was pretty loud at night but not much louder than some of the fans you find at other hotels.

My GF and I stayed in a studio with a queen bed for 3 nights at approx. $150/night. The bed was exceptional, as was the endowment of the kitchen. Very nice furniture and a reasonably large balcony only added to our comfort. Only the fireplace was a bit of a letdown. I knew it

marcmorian, Thank you for your recent stay with us and for the terrific review! We are very happy that you were able to enjoy the area, and that you enjoyed Juniper Springs Resort! Everyone on staff works very hard to provide the best experience possible for our guests, and your positive reinforcement of our efforts is always greatly appreciated! I do apologize that the fireplace was not as powerful as normal. It is possible that there was in issue with that individual unit, as I have honestly never had that complaint! Usually we have the opposite comments that the fireplace is too strong! We will certainly take a look to be sure it is operating as it should be and thank you for letting us know. We hope you will return and look forward to welcoming you back in the future! - Juniper Springs Resort

Is this pet friendly?
This Resort does not allow pets unfortunately. The Westin, Mammoth Mountain Inn and Tamarack Lodge do.

It depends on when you are going? You can enter to Yosemite National Park at several entrances, but the Tioga Rd. (from the east) is only open a few months each year. If you can go this way, I think 45 minutes is right. Otherwise you have to go a much longer road, which I assume is the one you see at Google Maps. Try to find the Tioga Rd and see. It opened about July 1st this year.

I don't think it goes directly. You do need to take two different ones to go all the way to the gondola. However, if you have your bike, it will only be a short bike ride away to the main shuttle that takes you all the way up.

Hello, We look forward to having you. The lodge is about 50 yards from the entrance of the hotel. They have a ski school area and great beginner terrain. The lodge and hotel both offer complimentary storage of ski equipment. We are one of the closest lodging options to ski school and chair lifts.

It is walking distance but I'd say it's a little over a mile with some hills. There is lodging practically in the village.
