The staff (owners?) we dealt with were extremely friendly, the happy hour nice (cheese and wine), and breakfasts were good but some fruit or healthy options would have been appreciated as well as an earlier start than 7:30. Fireplace in the rooms is a nice...More
Nice little B&B place. Good location within walking distance to a few restaurants and coffee shops. The prices aren't bad (for Mammoth, everything is expensive here) but the building and rooms need an update. The bed was creaky and felt like it could collapse at...More

Ditto, the hot tub was working in July but I did not use it and it was at a different building than my room. I had the same thought that it would be a great treat after hiking for 10 hours but my personal schedule didn't permit and the bath in my suite was so comfy I didn't feel I missed out. Regarding the post about breakfast, I thought a made-to-order, homemade breakfast of waffles/pancakes and eggs was actually pretty sweet. Cereal is an option but they usually had a warm breakfast offering if you show up on time. Hot tea and coffee all day in the lounge by the fireplace. Great Inn.
