This cabin was fresh and clean and well-designed. The heater worked well, as it was below freezing at night. The kitchen was functional and had all of the needed cooking and eating necessities. The grounds are lovely and quiet. The dining room was closed because it was late season, but we used the computer in the lodge (no wi-fi in...

Rock Creek Lodge has everything from rustic to modern cabins along beautiful Rock Creek, CA. We have been staying at Rock Creek Lodge for 20 years and can hardly wait to go back. There is a lodge dining room that serves a variety of breakfast items, from light breakfasts to big breakfasts for energy to hike Rock Creek and Little...

An assortment of rustic cabins and comfortable cottages dot the grounds of the Rock Creek Lodge. At the center, sits the lodge itself, where you can have a delicious breakfast of pancakes, waffles, or even a Greek omelet. After breakfast, we always take a walk around the small lake that sits just up stream from the lodge. As you walk...

Rock Creek Canyon is one of my favorite places on earth. I've been frequenting this area for over 25 years. Normally, there is a three night minimum stay. I called on the off chance that we might be able to book a room for one night, and was thrilled when Rock Creek Lodge accommodated my request. We stayed in cabin...

The rustic cottages are perfect for enjoying the beauty of nature surrounding them. The cottages are very basic, no luxury accommodations here but are comfortable and provide the basic amenities (kitchen, bathroom, comfortable beds). Hiking trails start right outside the front door and the lake is 5 minutes away.

I have visited the Rock Creek Lodge four times in the past three years and I am looking forward to a 5th in August. I have rented their cheapest cabin as well as their most expensive. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. Rock Creek Lodge is the father-son destination of choice for myself and my now 8-year-old. Perfect place...

Rustic setting in the mountains. Perfect for hiking and fishing. We stayed in one of the modern cabins, which are not stylish but are comfortable and more than adequate. The new guy who works the store is very friendly and helpful. If you are a prima donna and want luxury/spa services, this isn't the place for you. Mammoth is about...

So I planned my yearly fishing trip to rock creek lodge and everything goes bad before we even check in... WHAT A DUMP and major health hazard is an understatement. There website even agrees by stating: "Bobby Tanner is making much needed improvements". Okay, that's another understatement of the century. Upon arrival, I try and check in and the rooms...

We just returned from another trip to Rock Creek Lodge. This trip was much better than the last visit we had when we had problems with Jan. Jan was still there but we didn't see much of her. They had the most wonderful man, Jeff working the store and he was the nicest person we have ever talked to that...

Great location if you like hiking and fishing. The main lodge could use some TLC. The stove leaks smoke badly and the TV VCR and DVD player need to be replaced. Modern cabin was great but needed a toaster and larger coffee brewer.
