My wife and I have just returned from a week at the Casa de San Pedro, our fourth visit, over 10 years. Everything was as we remembered it. Warm hospitality from Karl and Patrick, great weather, elegant breakfasts and special Mexican dinners, and an unending variety of great pies. The vermillion flycatchers were there in good numbers, our favorite bird....

Thanks for your visit - for us, our guests who return often, are the icing on our cake! We get to know you better and better each stay, and you get to appreciate the depth and breadth of what we offer - and indeed a week's stay, getting to really explore the Casa and its surroundings, and taking time to...

I have stayed for bird watching in many locations around the US -- this place is above and beyond any other location/facilities/host graciousness and knowledge and overall peacefulness. My husband and I loved this B and B. Everything was perfect. The landscaping was designed to attract hummers and native pollinators and butterflies as well as being gorgeous. The feeders were...

Thanks for your kind words and support! Indeed you have highlighted the one facet of the Casa that we also enjoy so much: " an atmosphere of serenity and joy due to their efforts which is unique and valuable. Bringing in the healing aspects of nature in a low key way " - it benefits us as well as our...

If you love hiking and birding the Casa de San Pedro is the perfect place to stay. The property sits beside the San Pedro River and parkland so there are plenty of opportunities to walk the trails and see yellow warblers, summer tanagers, vermillion flycatchers, casino kingbirds and so much more. The homemade pies are fantastic and available all day...

Thanks for your review. Yes birding is a bit of a gamble -' casino' kingbirds (autocorrect !) are real winners (Cassin's kingbirds, Western Kingbirds, Tropical Kingbirds notwithstanding!) LOL. We hope to see you again soon!

Carl and Patrick have made a beautiful oasis in the desert. Our room was very comfortable and breakfast was delicious! Outside the room is a lovely courtyard to enjoy your coffee and at night you can walk the property while watching the sun set behind the mountains.

Thanks for your review! We also enjoy the tranquility of our very special spot on the San Pedro River. Taking time to savor the environment, the sunsets, and even your coffee as you enjoyed the courtyard flowers and birds, over a freshly brewed cup of coffee was indeed wise. We do the same thing to refresh ourselves! Karl and Patrick

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at CSP. The Inn and grounds are beautiful, the breakfasts magnificent and the hosts friendly and very helpful. There was an excellent bird walk on the location, with a very personable and knowledgeable birding guide. There are also many birding and hiking opportunities nearby.

Thanks for your kind comments! Indeed, there are many things to do when you are at the Casa: The San Pedro River is tranquil and refreshing, with many birds migrating through the area to spot and enjoy. And short treks to local mountain canyons yield even more delights of Nature, birds, vistas, and quiet walks in Nature. And of course...

For the third year in a row my wife and I just finished a wonderful visit to CSP, owned and run by the excellent hosts Karl and Patrick, ably assisted by Colleen. I can't speak highly enough about the warm hospitality, incredible ambiance (inside and outside this clean and well appointed B&B), great breakfasts, and always available fresh pies and...

Thanks for your kind and considerate words - we will pass them along to Tom and Sheri and Colleen as well. Yes the birds are booming through the valley on their way to Summer nesting grounds... and our own Summer birds are showing up as well, so the birdwatehers are busy spotting, photographing, and ..... eating pies! What fun!

We travelled from England for a weeks stay at the Casa De San Pedro in April and from the second we arrived we knew we had found a peace of heaven. Patrick and Karl are the perfect hosts, there to help whenever you need it. Every detail of the "Casa" is perfect. An outstanding place to stay. Beautifully furnished and...

We also enjoyed having you for a week this Spring and are looking forward to you returning in ..... August? So many of our guests come back several times per year to be able to catch the different seasons of SE Arizona and the different populations of birds in each. Looking forward to seeing you again soon! Karl and Patrick

The owners are so pleasant, the rooms are amazing, breakfast was wonderful. The hospitality was so special. It was a place I would go back to if I was in the area again. The place was also very clean, and it had no television a great benefit.

We enjoyed our early-spring visit to Case de San Pedro. The rooms are comfortable, the amenities are complete and the hosts are charmingly unobtrusive. It's quiet, and a perfect launch site for exploring the local environment or just sitting and watching wildlife. Of course, we would return just for the pie, too.

Yes, others have also observed that "above all it is quiet"... far way from the traffic and noise of the local towns, but close to nature and the Birds. Of course we do note that the pies also make it somewhat special as well. We hope to see you again on your next trip! The pies and the birds will...

We were looking for a quiet and fairly remote place where we could relax in beautiful surroundings, and we found it at the Casa de San Pedro.
