We thoroughly enjoyed our one night stay here. Last minute decision to go to Yorktown for a local event. Bill was very hospitable and a wealth of knowledge about the area and its history. Enjoyed a great breakfast and conversation. Our room was very comfortable and had everything we needed.

If you are a Virginia history buff, this is the place for you. (Plus, you'll have the most delicious and interesting breakfasts you've ever eaten.) Bill knows everything about Virginia history - and has a lot of it right at hand. Very convenient to all the history of Jamestown and Yorktown - where the British Empire in America began and...

We booked a quick one night stay. Wonderful accommodations, meal, and host! The view was amazing! We learned so much from our knowledgeable host! We enjoyed the central location to Jamestown and Williamsburg as well.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay to celebrate our 7th wedding anniversary! Bill is such an incredible host: very accommodating for food restrictions and allergies, very knowledgeable about local history, a great steward of the environment! The Inn is very comfortable and has a gorgeous view of the Coleman Bridge and York River :) We were able to...

This was my 6th or 7th visit and it keeps getting better. Innkeeper Bill Cole always makes an amazing breakfast. The accommodations are great and the location is perfect. There is always something to do in the Historic Triangle.

Host Bill is a most welcoming fellow. He made us feel right at home from the moment that we arrived at the Inn. We had the George Washington Suite, the largest of his three rooms. Indeed, the room was large and comfortably furnished. The bed, with a beautiful antique headboard, was very comfortable. All the linens and towels were fresh...

Our second time at this B&B and it was excellent. Our family has stayed here about 10 times. Bill the Innkeeper is quite the historian. Breakfast is awesome, the view is even better. They have a great flower garden and lots of birds including cardinals, humming birds and bluejays. The location is short walking distance to the Yorktown Riverwalk area...

It's a pleasure for me to host these guests, and I'm flattered that members of this family have returned several times. It makes me search for new food items to prepare! And I've become friends with these folks as well as with most of my great guests!

The best B and B I have ever visited. Thank you Bill. Your are a great American, historian and Innkeeper. The Inn is decorated in history. My wife and I were in Yorktown for the graduation of our son from "A" school at the USCG Training Center. Bill understands if you are going to graduation at the Center. Listen to...

My wife and I stayed for three nights at the York River Inn Bed and Breakfast. Bill was an excellent host, who provided us with plenty of information, suggestions, stories, and history. He also prepared three fantastic breakfasts and expanded our palates with items like Scotch eggs, baked pineapple, among other rich delights. In the room, the bed was comfortable,...

My wife and I were lucky to get a reservation at the York River Inn B&B for two over the July 4th holiday. I had tickets to Busch Gardens in Williamsburg as well. We picked the Inn for the great reviews (which in retrospect are justified). When making the reservation Bill suggested the Riverwalk Restaurant for our special occasion and...
