The beds are good. The shower was good. The staff was excellent the hotel was extremely noisy. It is close to the 101. The interior is horrible. Holes in the walls and a bathroom with a rusty light fixture and empty bulbs in it. If you sum it up I would say if you wish to experience what the poorest Americans endure every day then stay here. It was way over priced at 148.00 dollars a night.

We booked this motel as a stopping point after landing in LA. We literally got there after 10pm slept and then off again by 9am the next day. It was okay. The people were lovely. The room smelt a little bit but we think it was of some form of cleaning fluid rather then dirty but the sheets on the bed were spotless and very comfortable. I wouldn't want to stay here for any length of time as it wasn't the nicest looking place but it served a purpose which was great value for money.

I had intended to stay over in Santa Monica but the cheapest rate I could get was $150 so opted for this instead, at a more reasonable $85- albeit still much more expensive than the majority of other places stayed on my trip. Approx 30mins on highway

First off don't go off the booking.com address! They have it wrong, fortunately my sat nav
came to the rescue. The chap who was in reception was not interested in this, but was friendly enough, and even showed me to my room

Room was spacious, if a bit bare. I could tell the rooms get a lot of use.

PROS
Spacious, bed was comfortable.
Wifi was strong ( I noticed the router was situated near reception so request a room near to if this is an issue.
Room on the whole was clean.
Large LCD TV, with cable although no Guide so I had no idea what was on
Micro and fridge

Cons
Walls were very thin. Wok(en) up to someone in an adjacent room on the phone!

Some of the cable channels had interference

One power socket at desk was loose, lamp had no bulb in it. Thus meant I could not work from the desk.
Upon checkout (7:30) no sign of breakfast ( I'm sure I read somewhere one was provided)
Although there are plenty of shops close by

As per my title this was ok for an overnighter, any longer and I would consider elsewhere

We paid $216 for a Saturday night. When pulling into the motel, we noticed people outside washing cars and hanging out. There was trash all over the parking lot and walkways. This place obviously rents out most room to weekly or monthly tenants. At one point it looked like a homeless person exited one of the rooms. I'm guessing they have a few rooms prepared for desperate travelers like us that need a place to stay for the night.

Check in was okay. Once in the room, we were hit with a strong musty odor. It did eventually go away. The room had been renovated with a flat screen TV and the bathroom had new tile and finishes. However, there was gang graffiti on the inside of the bathroom door. The linins were clean and we did not suffer and bites of any kind.

The bathtub did not have a plug to have a bath. Stuffed a hand towel in the drain.

The AC did work nice and we had hot water to shower and bath.

Shortly after checking in I went out to get food to bring back to the room. They area is very scary after dark. Got amazing Hawaiian food about 1/2 a mile away, Many patrons looked like gang members. Gang clothing, face and neck tattoos, etc.

If you have no other choice, this place will allow you to get some sleep without sleeping in your car. Bring food or eat before you check in so you don't have to leave.

I will not ever stay there again.

This was the filthiest, smelliest, room I have ever stayed in. RUN AWAY as fast as you can. They could not pay me a million dollars to stay there. It was traumatizing. There was 2 inches of dirt everywhere and food on the floor. There were balled up kleenex ( FILTHY) under the bed. There was BLOOD SPATTER on the sheets. There were weirdos everywhere outside and a man 4 feet from our car, sitting smoking crack. It was SCARY.

Not happy with my fellow Trip Advisor contributors who have rated this place above "Terrible"! The photographer for this place should get an award. So much worse than it looks on the web site. Office was filthy! A disheveled woman step out from a darkened room into the reception area to check us in. Pleasant, but looked like she just rolled out of bed. There were Sketchy guys hanging out and smoking on the 2nd floor balcony, which just happened to be where our room was, #206.
We enter the room and wanted to turn and run! The smell! the dirty walls! We told ourselves it was only for 1 night, and decided to stay. We began to settle in and found what looked like, fried chicken pieces on the filthy carpet, several crumpled tissues under the bed, a filthy tv, grungy bed spread, cigarette holes in the blankets and dirty sheets. After about 15 minutes of try to convince ourselves we'd be OK, we called the front desk and asked to check out without a charge. After some discussion, she relented and let us go. We got in our car a noticed a man sitting on the parking lot curbing, 10 feet from our car smoking a crack pipe. Couldn't get out of their fast enough! Worst place we've ever "almost" stayed, EVER! Checked in to a Comfort Inn, a few miles away where we have a reservation for tomorrow night. Kenya, at the Comfort Inn was able to accommodate us at a reduced rate after she heard of our horror story at Victoria Motel.
(I will review The Comfort Inn, Ventura CA after our stay)
At $69, the Victoria Motel is a rip off! Even if they offered us a free night, we wouldn't stay here! Horrible, horrible, horrible!!!

It was dirty, no window screen in bathroom. It was hot, the "fan" didn't work (no air conditioner) and the bathroom window would have given the room a little air however, there wasn't a screen so the flys and masquitos came into the room. There was used bath soap in the shower and the toilet paper was already empthy when we arrived. The doors were all dirty, I hated to touch them. There were broken down dirty cars in the parking spaces outside our room (looked like they were not moved for months). They charged an extra $20 for double beds instead of the same price as for one king size bed (most hotel do not charge extra for DB).
Sorry, I do not recommend this motel to anyone especially if you have childern.

Honestly the dirtiest place I have ever stayed. There was tooth paste on the walls, cobwebs on the curtains and hairs on the toilet and floor of bathroom! The front desk was not helpful and care less than the maids.

The staff bent over backwards to accommodate me! The room was clean and quiet. Thank you!!!

I was able to get some work done with their decent Wi-Fi service. Due to an obligation, I needed to check out late. That was no problem with a very reasonable additional fee.

The motel is right off the freeway which is how my boyfriend and I saw it. It was about midnight so we were desperate and just looking for a place to stay. We quickly looked up the motel online and saw it had decent reviews and thought OK its just for one night anyway. The stay was pretty cheap for being in CA ($100/night) so we went ahead and got a room. The AC in the room did not work. Also the carpet in the room was wet, I assumed they must have recently had the carpet washed or something but it made for a bad smell in the room and the fact the AC didn't work to at least help ventilate the room made it even muskier/dingy in there. The room was very outdated but that was the least of my concerns at $100/night. I just wish the room would have not had wet carpet and an AC that worked. If you don't check out promptly at 11 am, the owner/worker will pay you a visit. We checked out the next day then stayed at the La Quinta Inn Ventura the following night (about 2 miles away) for the same price and had a MUCH better room w/ complimentary breakfast.
