We were looking for something that would get us close to Grand Central for our airport and upstate transportation needs. We picked this place because it had consistently good reviews and was a short walk from GCC. We were pleasantly surprised to find a nice, clean room and larger than we expected for NYC. We have stayed in other places...

The hotel is not amazing but it is good value and a great location. The rooms are comfortable and clean, although the bathrooms are dated and need renovating. The gym is ok, and the lobby area is lovely. The reception staff can be rude but I would still recommend this hotel due to the location and cost.

This hotel is just around the corner from Grand Central Terminal. We walked to most everything and felt that it was in a good location. There is a parking garage one street over that made it very convenient and cheaper than the hotel valet. The room was small for what we are use to, guess that is a NYC size,...

It was quite a surprise to walk into the luxurious lobby based upon the good price that we got when reserving. We enjoyed being in a great location close to Times Square and Grand Central. As others have said, the rooms were a bit small. However that didn't really bother us. We were super impressed to see that after midnight,...

I stayed in the hotel for 4 nights. I was welcomed warmly at the front desk. I had a suite which had a second bedroom. The dining room, living room and main bedroom were very spacious. The hotel lobby is grand old style. The hotel is located only a few blocks from Grand Central which made it an easy walk...

We stayed at the hotel three days and enjoyed very much. We were in two double bed and the room was nice and very clean. Had a great atmosphere of the 20s Hotel, and despite what we read in other reviews, we did not feel a load of people at reception and lifts. The only thing that was wrong is...

I stayed here 30 years ago when I was a teenager. It still has the NYC beautiful old world atmosphere in the lobby. The rooms have been renovated since then and were greatly improved. However they are quite small. This wasn't a big surprise for New York City. I got a fantastic deal online so this was worth it. This...

I was looking for somewhere to take my wife for her 40th and I did masses of research about New York and the hotels available. I settled on the Roosevelt forma number of reasons - the history of the place, the beauty of the building, the position in the city and the sheer class of the place. I have to...

I stayed in the Roosevelt for 4 days, this hotel has a great location in the heart of NY city, it has a very clean luxurious entrance, staff were helpful although we didn't need them much, what was disappointing was the room, it was extremely small as soon as you open the door you'd find the tip of the bed...

Like most of the reviews for this hotel my experience was similar. I stayed for 3 nights and the hotel is in a great location and close to all the main attractions of midtown Manhattan. Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
