This hotel is right in the heart of the city. You can walk to fifth avenue, times square and grand central station within minutes. The reception is beautiful and very impressive. The staff are very polite and helpful. We had a cozy double for a family of four. It was plenty big enough. The beds were comfortable and the room was...

I love this place. It's a throwback. Especially at Christmas. It's beautiful and classic. The bar is fun. Rooms are not A+ but are nice enough. Not expensive. Around $225/night. Mid-town location is really great, easy to get anywhere. I'm a regular now!

Thank you for your comments and review. Yes the Roosevelt does have an "old world" feel and it's especially ture at Christmas time. Our lobby is like being on a holiday movie set. Great place to have a cocktail and people watch. Thanks again for your valuable feedback and we look forward to your next visit.

My husband and I joined two other couples over Halloween and for the NY Marathon. The Roosevelt was a great place to stay for that! All sorts of restaurants within walking distance! The convenience of Grand Central just steps away! The fun of staying in a grand old historic building. Our rooms were adequately sized, bigger than we expected, actually....

My mom and two sisters and I just got back from spending last weekend in New York. I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone. The staff is exceptional! Marlene and Alfredo(front desk), and Eddie(hotel bartender), were super friendly and helpful. They made our stay a wonderful memory. My mom is 87 years old and it was on her bucket...

The two BEST things about this hotel are mentioned in the title, however everything else was above average and better than anticipated. If you like "old style" you will be very pleased. Small rooms, but more than adquate...only "downer" was the paper glasses in the room and no coffee maker.

Love this hotel. It's a grand old New York hotel that takes you back to the grand old days complete with a doorman in a top hat and cape. Clean, lots of character, nice staff, comfy beds, beautiful fresh flowers in the lobby, lots of marble and antique brass, and superb location. My only complaint is that they charge for...

This hotel is absolutely fabulous! My girl friend and myself visited New York for Halloween and could not have been happier with the hotel! Bed were extremely comfortable! Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
