We were in NYC from September 16-19, 2013 and we had our socks blown off by Team Hotel Metro. From initial outreach by phone to their website's "Contact Us" I chose their email option and immediately got a response from Mr. Frank Troy, who proceeded to answer all of my questions and concerns about early arrival, etc. While he couldn't...

We stayed for 6 nights from the 31st of August and were impressed the moment we stepped into our room. Located on the 10th floor, it was spacious, well appointed and absolutely spotless. A note and box of chocolates was left next to the bed congratulating me on my 40th birthday, a lovely thought. Bed was very comfortable. Air conditioning...

We stayed here in march for 4 nights and the hotel is Great! A little outdated in places but clean, tidy, professional look and very helpful staff. We stayed on the 7th floor and had a massive and very comfortable bed and whilst the room was not huge that's fine as we only needed somewhere to sleep (Could of paid...

Great location, great top floor bar with fantastic views of Empire State Building and surrounding area, larger than average rooms but old fashion furnishing. Much dark wood and chintz. Recommended. Inclusive breakfast is fine but basic.

We were in Manhattan for 2nt/3days sightseeing, theatre etc. and truly enjoyed returning to the Hotel Metro at the end of the day. We were lucky enough to have a PH room (simply requested Premiere rooms on floors 8-13). The room was spacious (for NYC) with a large bathroom c/w double sinks and great shower with multiple shower heads. (NO...

Recently stayed 5 nights in this hotel, no complaints. Great location near all midtown sites. The staff are very friendly and, for New York the rooms are quite big and reasonably priced. Breakfast is free and is pretty good although seating can ce a problem. The roof top bar is a great facility, although a bit pricey for a pretty...

We stayed for 6 nights beginning of September and were generally happy with the hotel and its location. We did found the room small despite booking a premier room. The airco was very noisy and impossible to keep running during the evening (had to turn up the volume on the TV) and certainly during night. Another disappointment was the breakfast,...

Brilliant location, clean and reasonably priced. Rooms on the small side, but big shower in en suite. Free Breakfast for everyone, even if you book room only. Would definitely stay here again if travelling to NYC.

Stayed at this hotel for 5 days early September 2013, buffet breakfast was very good, cannot say a bad word about the hotel in any way. Staff were very pleasant, rooms cleaned every morning, would have no problem returning to this hotel for another 5 days

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
