We were there to get away. The staff was great at check it, at check out and each time between, when we needed something in the room in minutes it was there. The location is ideal minutes to the attractions of Manhattan.

Location for downtown Manhattan is great. within walking distance to Times Square, Theatre district, Rockefeller Center. Thats the plus! Rooms were very small. Three of us stayed in a room with two queen beds and could hardly move. Bathroom was adequate, although not the cleanest. Front desk was no help at all, and at times even rude. If you want...

Thebrigans, Thank you for taking the time to write a review of the hotel – your feedback is important to us. I am happy to read you were satisfied with our great location, the Starbuck’s on property and the proximity to so many great eating places. I apologize for the rude service from the staff – I assure you this...

Minimalist but comfortable hotel rooms, centrally located, with a full service Starbucks on the floor and steps to a great breakfast at the Bryant Park location of Le Pain Quotidian. Great views and super quiet.

This was perfect for my birthday weekend in NYC. Great location as we walked everywhere. Times Square, Rockefeller Center, Grand Central Terminal, 5th avenue... everywhere! We also found some fun pubs/bars really close by that we enjoyed. The room was clean and the staff was nice. The adjacent Starbucks was a plus as well. Would definitely stay here again.

Although the picture shown on this page shows a sofa in the room, we were given a room with only a desk chair. Nor did the lobby have a comfortable area to sit. Nor did the business center. My husband is a platinum Marriott member and always insists on staying at Marriott properties. We have never seen such a poorly...

Josette G, I am sorry we were not able to meet your expectations with respect to amenities offered in the hotel. As we are city property and we are located in arguably the best location in Manhattan this does come at a cost as space is at a significant premium. Therefore we are not built with a pool nor have...

Room was clean and quite big enough. Good bathroom ensuite. Excellent location. 5 mins walk from Grand Central Station in one direction and 5 min walk to Bryant subway in the other. In walking distance to Broadway.

For Midtown Manhattan, it wasn't bad at all. Everything is small, but what isn't in Midtown? Everything was clean and well kept. Staff was great. Walking distance to most things, including Times Square. Surprisingly quiet hotel. Good value for the location.

Ideal location for us. Short walk from Port Authority and very close to Time Square. We easily walked to most places from here. Price was very reasonable. There is a small deli next door called Marche Madison for snacks, beer, sandwiches, water, soda so you can save some money. No refrigerators in the rooms but the beds are comfortable, the...

Was stranded in NYC on an international layover due to bad weather. Had an option to spend 36 hours in the airport or in the gem in NYC. Great location great service and did everything they could to make our trip very pleasant. The staff is very pleasant and the location great even in a snowstorm many places are accessible...

Amazing location. The lobby is depressing. Needs some restyling. After all it's NY! My room was very spacious and comfortable. The best part is the staff. Very nice, helpful and provide great service. I recommend.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
