We bought a travelzoo deal for a massage and wine. Soooo fabulous. The staff is wonderful and the spa is amazing. Unfortunately they are closing in a few months. Definitely go there if you can. You won't regret it. And add the hot stones. Bonus!

My husband and I spend one night at the Waldorf last weekend, making sure to have one more visit before closing for renovations. Upon arrival, the valet area was busy but organized. We left the car and headed upstairs, hoping to have a room available a bit early. Turns out he room was not ready at 1:30 when we arrived,...

It's still an amazing Hotel. But the Lady has become old and the service isn't five-star anymore. You pay for the reputation of one of the best Hotels in the world and get a very decent return for it. Thank you, Frank for a great service!

We managed to get a good offer to Waldorf Astoria and we decided to give it a try. It was hotel experience to remember. When you arrive at the lobby you can feel all the history related to this place. The lobby and all the common areas are beautiful, full of small details. I had the best Manhattan I've ever...

We came back to stay at this beautiful NYC icon one last time before it closes for good March 2017. Will miss the wonderful staff and pure elegance of this hotel. Try to book a stay if possible you will not be disappointed.

The Waldorf Astoria takes service very seriously. The staff is everywhere, and are eager to assist guests with warm smiles. The first thing that went through my mind when I entered the lobby was that, I would be staying where all the kings and shieks used to stay. the room we had was amazing. It made me remember the old...

First time ever in NY for anniversary and 50th birthday. Seen all the movies and so ready and looking forward to the American way of doing things. Booked the Waldorf for 3 nights and after 3 different rooms got a half decent one in The Towers. The other rooms were a total mess, paint and paper peeling off the walls,...

I had a wonderful time at the Waldorf Astoria. We were lucky enough to get a couple of rooms that had great views of the Empire State Building. Our in room service was professional and delicious. Rebecca at the front desk was so incredibly kind when it came to check out. Jim, the bellman, was just amazing. We could not...

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
