My family was on our way back from Costa Rica to the states so we used Hotel Tonight to score two, sub $300 a night, rooms at the Pierre. We have stayed here many times before for a much higher rate.. We Uber’d it from...More
Since the 30s, the Pierre has been quintessentially New York, complete with all the elegant hallmarks—marble floors, gilded moldings, multitier chandeliers—of a high society stay.
Today the hotel is a fash-pack favorite and plays host to the Parsons designer showcase and Marc Jacobs afterparties. Beyond...More

Thank you for your fantastic review. I am glad you mentioned our elevator operators, they are truly wonderful, and add so much to the experience of living at The Pierre.
We hope to see you again soon.
The presentation was lovely. It was, a hot day so we iced the garden tea. It was very refreshing. The scones were flakey and delicous. Butter, cream cheese and jelly were basic. Sandwiches outrageously good but very small. Pastries were interesting with wonderful variety.
I enjoyed another wonderful stay at the Pierre .Our room was cushy and quiet ...a little old world which I love, and great bathroom. I love the location a little away from the Central Park and Fifth Avenue mayhem but near enough, and close to...More

Combining quiet residential neighbourhoods that have easy access to Central Park with world-famous cultural institutions, the Upper East Side is one of the most livable places in the city. Along beautiful Fifth Avenue, you’ll find Museum Mile, which houses many of the nation's most famous attractions in a single stretch, like The Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Guggenheim Museum. Walk a few blocks into the
neighbourhood, and you’ll come to Park Avenue, the poshest address in the city, lined with grand apartment buildings as far as the eye can see. Even if you can’t afford the luxury goods along Madison Avenue, it’s still a great spot to window shop an afternoon away.

The shuttle is offered on a first come first serve basis. I think it is limited to roughly a 15-20 block distance north to south from the hotel. Definitely will not cover airport shuttle service. It can replace an Uber or cab provided it is within the area described. It is a nice Town Car.
