Recently stayed at the Michelangelo for a weekend away in NYC. The hotel is conveniently located to Times Square. Inside the hotel the staff was warm, accommodating and went above and beyond to be helpful. The room was fantastic...way more than we anticipated. We will be back to NYC and without a doubt stay at Michelangelo.

This is by far our favorite hotel in the city, once you enter the lobby you know it was a wise choice. The staff are perfect, the hotel is well maintained and everyone who works here are there to make you comfortable and want you to feel welcome. No hustle and bustle here. You must try it, not to mention...

We stayed at this hotel for one night. It was a great location, the lobby was very nice, old style luxury. The room was large, with a king sized bed, large closet, sofa, chair, coffee table. It was a nice surprise! The sofa material seemed dated but not worn or weary. Other than that, room was very upscale. Had one...

We stayed at the Michelangelo for 4 nights and in one of the nights I noticed the smell of cigarettes in the hallway, since my wife is pregnant I decided to call the front desk and ask if someone could come up and spray some air freshener in the hallway. The manager called me up apologizing for the inconvenience he...

The Michaelangelo Hotel was wonderful. We stayed there for 5 nights over Xmas and the whole package was excellent. We were travelling to New York for the first time with our teenage daughters and the reception staff informed us we had been given a room upgrade. The rooms were spacious and comfortable with huge incredibly comfortable king beds, an expansive...

We have stayed at The Michelangelo many times the past few years. This is truly our home away from home when visiting New York. Every time we arrive, the staff welcomes us back like family. Cesar at the front door and Henry in the lobby greet us with the biggest smiles. Jimmy, our bartender always remembers our favorite cocktails. The...

Stayed at The Michelangelo on Jan 2-5, two connecting rooms. Phenomenal location; friendly staff (Cesar greeted us so very warmly); huge rooms and very nice bathrooms for NYC. Nice complementary breakfast. Possibly the quietest hotel I've ever stayed at. Only negative is that the rooms' carpet and furniture were a bit tired and worn.

Stayed here in September 2014. We are a couple both celebrating our 60th birthday. Came to NYC as a present to each other and chose this hotel. Had informed the hotel when booking of our birthdays, and they couldn't have treated us better. There was a hiccough at check-in, but that worked in our favour and we got an upgraded...

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
