Location, staff / service, facility all terrific for family trip to NYC. Central in mid town, but still quiet and elegant. Had 2 children with us; both had a wonderful time. Very spacious and clean room. Great staff.

Perfect location. Close to Times Square, but not in Times Square. Close to Central Park. Clean, great service and big rooms. Close to subway. Excellent breakfast daily with room at no charge. Love this hotel.

From the moment I entered the lobby I felt like I was immediately somewhere else. Great service, comfortable rooms, nice bar to grab an evening drink. The continental breakfast was a nice way to start the day, and the welcome chocolates from the GM were thoroughly enjoyed.

I've stayed in New York a few times and this is probably the best hotel I've stayed at. We stayed here for my wife's 40th birthday. The hotel was superb. The staff were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. That isn't always the case with New York hotels. The hotel has beautiful decor and a welcoming ambience. The rooms are also beautifully...

The Michelangelo is a very comfortable hotel, on the edge of but not a part of the midtown Manhattan madness. The rooms are spacious, the beds excellent, the staff pleasant and helpful. The small restaurant and bar, just off the lobby, serves very good Italian and American food at lunch and dinner, fine breakfasts at fair prices (for NYC). It...

We truly enjoyed this hotel. I booked 7 rooms for a reunion. The reservations manager was excellent. So easy to deal with, no matter how many times I called with questions and a few changes. The location is perfect. Near the theater district and museums and Times Square. It's a smaller hotel which we enjoyed very much as compared to...

This is a charming hotel, with an excellent & helpful staff. The rooms are big and bathrooms are large with countertops! The beds are very comfortable. The location is perfect for Times Square, the Theatre District, Central Park and shopping. I would highly recommend The Michelangelo Hotel!

I have stayed at the Michelangelo 4 times on different girl trips. The adjoining room that have 2 king beds each is the best deal! The concierge is always so helpful with transportation to show tickets

My husband and I just spent two nights at the Michelangelo, and quite liked it. It was lovely and quiet, and we didn't have to line up at any time - during check-in and check-out we were the only people at the desk, and service was prompt and smooth. Last time we visited NYC we stayed at the Sheraton just...

Stayed here 5 nights and as a previous reviewer commented, not quite perfect. We were also upgraded to a lovely suite, as was another party traveling with us, which was wonderful. The staff was excellent, from Chris at the door to Acha at the front desk, to James the concierge, to the housekeepers. The room, with a living area and...

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
