I stayed at the Lombardy for a few days while on a business trip. It is spacious, clean, and located within walking distance of the subway and Park Ave. It was a great place to stay. Our 6 night stay was pleasant and our deluxe King room was spacious with a very comfortable bed. Despite requesting an upper floor room, we were allocated room 207, one floor up from the street and facing the front; double glazing helped with the street noise. But this is New York and New York is a noisy city. The kitchen...

Stayed in room 812. Very quiet at night and incredibly spacious by any standard, let alone Manhattan. Even though the room was on the back side of the hotel, there was good light. Convenient to Rockefeller Center and subway to get around the city. Voucher for coffee and roll at little coffee shop, which can be accessed through the hotel...

I made a reservation on Booking.com specifically at the Lombardy so that I could get two queen beds. When I arrived, there were two beds across from each other (like being in camp). Since I normally sleep in a king, it took me a couple of nights to recognize that these were not queen beds. I liked the Lombardy in...

My daughter and I enjoyed staying at the Lombardy while visiting with relatives also visiting NYC and also staying in the Lombardy in a 2 bedroom apartment. The location is walking distance to Rockefeller Center, the Waldorf Astoria, Fifth Avenue shopping and Central Park. The Lombardy is a good value and is a welcoming place. I recommend.

My mom, my 14 year old daughter and I stayed in a one bedroom suite with 2 queens. I've stayed here before for work, and I truly enjoyed my family stay (all three of us did). The location of the hotel, on 56th between Lex and Park, is great. Safe at night, and easy during the day to get cabs,...

We hadn't stayed here for a few years but it was just like coming home. You know a hotel is well-run when the staff never change. Our one-bedroom apartment had everything we needed including a truly comfortable bed and our own kitchenette. An addition since we last stayed-a branch of 9th Street Espresso off the lobby with a free coffee...

I never stay in N.Y.C. hotels. I grew up there and my parents are still in the same apartment but I decided to give myself a little bit of 'space' as I descended onto NYC for an intense week of rehearsals for a concert at Lincoln Center in mid February. I needed peace and quiet. I needed to be able...

This was the second time I stayed at the Lombardy, and it's gotten considerably worse. I think that it's incumbent upon staff to make sure that a room is ready for the guest. But here were the problems: 1. There's no central air, and I walked into the room and the window heater was off, so it took a couple...

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
