Great location, clean and friendly team. Loved entrances on both sides of the block, express coffee bar in the morning. Only Miss was not having coffee machine like Nespresso in room. Room was super quiet and unique welcome on tv with birds chirping like you are in Central Park.
Well it’s been two years since we have been able to travel out of South Africa. My wife and I have stayed at the Park Lane many times and just LOVE it !!! Great location right on the Park. And a pleasant surprise when we arrived back there two days ago was that a beautiful full renovation was done in 2020 when NYC was shut down. The new bathrooms are particularly awesome and the beds as comfy as ever. Also great to see the staff again and that they have survived the past two years. Then an essential mention is EDITA who works on the front desk! She is awesome and it felt like she was a best friend or family member who we reunited with. Edita is an asset to the Hotel and does herself proud ! Awesomeness , out . . .
We had a horrible experience at the rooftop bar. The manager does not understand customer service to carter to their guest to spend more money. I'll never stay here again, use St Regis, Ritz Carlton or Waldorf as options.
Everything was fine. The room was quite big and had everything you could expect. I would put some more lights in the room because it gets really dark at night and the low light makes ir hard to work. We had a small problem with the water on our first night but it was solved in a few hours. The staff was charming and Viktor and Mathew were really helpful.
We loved this hotel! Every person was extremely friendly, the food was delicious, our view of the park was fantastic, our room was very nice and large! We were close to shopping, obviously the park, and the subway - super handy! No complaints!
all good. loved the vibe. Great location across the street from CP. Harry's Bar on premise a big positive. Our room was nicely appointed and clean. We were not facing the park which was a negative. Staff all attentive and positive. We have booked for another weekend stay. Only negative was elevators. We had to walk down from 10th floor with our bags to check out after waiting 10 min plus. Something was amiss that day in the elevator bank for sure.
Hard to beat the Park Lane’s incredible location on CPS with its own wonderful vibe, but also a perfect home base from which to explore other neighborhoods in the city. I appreciated the recent renovation, the art nouveau style, and warm and welcoming service. Our suite was clean, comfortable, and spacious with a stunning, unobstructed view of Central Park. What a luxurious backdrop to start and end our days. Beyond the lovely attention to detail and unique trimmings, it was the personalized attention from guest service agents, servers at Rose Lane and Harry’s, bellmen, housekeepers, housemen, doormen and all hotel staff which made our visit to Park Lane so memorable. Would highly recommend, and will be back with more friends and family!
This hotel sits right across from Central Park so you grab a coffee and go for a stroll! Kind helpful courteous staff and lovely rooms. Beautiful bar lounge downstairs - two restaurants in the hotel - courteous concierge who knows NYC! What a great stay!
You can’t beat this location. The service was great, and the rooms were clean. Bathrooms have been redone since my last stay. I’m not sure how I feel about the Asian decor in the rooms, and the elevators could use brighter lights. Whole Foods and Met minutes away. Ken ..arm 3310
Dream stay!!! Park Lane will now be my go-to hotel in NYC. Unthinkable to have this level of luxury right on Central Park South at similar price point to hotels in less ideal parts of the City. Our room had open views of Central Park (stunning), gorgeous interior design, comfy bed and linens…all new and spotless from what I understand to be the hotel’s recent major renovations. Warm and 5-star service and a variety of food options in the building. I’m already looking for excuses to come back with other friends and family so they (and I) can luxuriate at Park Lane.
