Stayed 1 night at this hotel in a regular queen room. The hotel is in an excellent location for upper east side. Near to subway, east to get across town and good restaurants nearby. Room was well appointed but quite small. Bathroom is tiny. I would not recommend this size room for more than 1 person. It was totally fine...

Stayed for a week in September 2013. The room was very small but the staff were very friendly and as others have said the internet connection was bit patchy. Drinks and nibbles in the afternoons was good and the hotel is in an excellent location to get the train at 86th street. Apart from the room size we enjoyed our...

The room is one of the smallest we've ever seen, not to mention the tiny bathroom. The sheets and towels were clean and the breakfast was adequate, but overall not worth the price we paid. The room needed to be cleaned and painted. Wifi was down most of the time. Location was OK for museums but far from theatre and...

Very spotty internet service. Had to wake up at 430 am on a work day to try and get service. Tried for two days. They offered to move me at 11 pm at nigh to a room where I may or may not get service, or to have me use their one computer by the drafty door of the hotel....

This hotel is tucked away and easy to miss at a brisk walk. It would be a shame to do so, as its really nice. It's well appointed, well run and charming. The rooms are tiny, however, but how much time do you spend in your room, really?

Great location if you want to be away from the madness of Times Square area. Staff are very friendly and hotel rooms are comfortable. They store your luggage before check in and after check out. Had a small, but nice continental breakfast option - nothing too fancy. I liked my stay here and would come back. For prices of NY...

This charming small hotel is beautifully located near Central Park, museums & the subway. Navigating NY City from here was a breeze. We loved being in a residential area instead of the craziness of the touristy Times Square area. The staff was friendly and efficient. Having breakfast and afternoon wine with other guests in the interment dining and living room...

Staying in Upper East Side

Neighbourhood Profile
Upper East Side
Combining quiet residential neighbourhoods that have easy access to Central Park with world-famous cultural institutions, the Upper East Side is one of the most livable places in the city. Along beautiful Fifth Avenue, you’ll find Museum Mile, which houses many of the nation's most famous attractions in a single stretch, like The Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Guggenheim Museum. Walk a few blocks into the neighbourhood, and you’ll come to Park Avenue, the poshest address in the city, lined with grand apartment buildings as far as the eye can see. Even if you can’t afford the luxury goods along Madison Avenue, it’s still a great spot to window shop an afternoon away.
