I've stayed at The Belvedere several times, usually for 3 or 4 nights at a time. I've thoroughly enjoyed every stay. The rooms are comfortable, staff is friendly, professional and helpful, and you can't beat the location. The little kitchenette is a big plus when you're staying for a few nights and want to skip the restaurant scene. The hotel...

We have just spent a week at the Belvedere. Overall, our experience was positive. The room was well sized, clean and comfortable. The staff were helpful, particularly the bellmen (when primed with tips!). We avoided the breakfasts, which seemed on the pricy side. However,we had a few niggles. On arrival, we were told that our rooms had not been prepaid,...

Very nice place to stay when you are visiting Manhattan. Close to Time Square, the Rock, and Central Park. Very clean rooms although a little small. Nice gift shop with plenty of snacks for the kids. The staff is very helpful and courteous. The only negative is they have two small elevators (fit maybe 10 people). We would take the...

We have just returned from a fantastic trip to New York and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Belvedere. We booked the hotel after reading other reviews on this site and it was even better than we had hoped. Booked the Belvedere after reading several positve reviews on this site. Very pleased with stay. Excellent location, 10 minutes walk from Times Square. Lovely room, bigger than expected. Reasonable price with breakfast included. Would stay there again without hesitation.

A referral from a friend as well as positive Trip Advisor reviews led us to book the Belvedere, and we're so glad we did. The location was ideal, the staff was most helpful, and the rooms were very nice and very reasonable as far as New York hotels are concerned. It is true that the elevators were a bit slow,...

We travel to the States every year to do some Christmas shopping. We have stayed in other hotels but prefer the Belvedere for its central location, excellent staff and good standard of accommodation for the price. Walk two blocks through the Theatre district and you come out on Times Sqaure! Can't be bad. We have recommended the hotel to others...

Our first trip to NY and fell in Love with it! Hotel was more than we had hoped for with only a 2 min walk to Times Square. First morning we were woken by drilling workmen in the bedroom next door but we were moved straight away without any fuss. The staff were all friendly and helpful, the hotel was...

We stayed at the Belvedere 7/31 to 8/4/07, we arrived early and got a room right away, my wife, myself and two large teenage boys. The hotel was clean, staff friendly and very helpful. The room was plenty large enough but would have liked 2 queen sized beds. Fridge in the room was nice. Pozo Pastry Shop and the the...

I booked this hotel after much research for a birthday weekend trip with my sister. It lived up to expectations. The location was great - within walking distance of all Broadway theatres, Times Square and subway. Check in was quick and easy. The art deco decor was lovely. Our room was great size for price and location. It was one...

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
