We stayed here for 3 nights in April and very much enjoyed our stay. We had booked a petite room and upon check in we were offered an upgrade to a larger room for around $50 a night I believe - we decided to go and take a look at the room we had booked and then decide. If you...

Dear Traveler, Thank you for telling us about your recent stay. We couldn't agree with you more about our Petite Guestrooms, they are on the cozier side and are very symplicit. We only suggest this room for one nighters, or someone who will hardly be 'hanging out' in the room. We are glad you had an overall nice stay and...

We've had nothing but the most amazing service at the Affinia. Janet and Melinda have been super stars in ensuring we've had nothing but the most fantastic time. Could not recommend the Affinia any higher. Thank you so much.

I stayed in this hotel last year and because it suited me so well, I made a return visit for six nights this year. The location of the hotel is fantastic - easy walk to so many different attractions. I did upgrade my room and finished up with a wonderful space including a terrace - rare find in New York!...

On 7th avenue a five minute walk from Times Square and three minutes from Penn Station so in an excellent location for visiting almost anywhere in New York. The hotel itself is nice just make sure you ask for a quiet room as it can get noisy.

This hotel is really great for a quick stay feels more like staying in an apartment. I had booked through Hotel Tonight a couple hours before arrival. When I got to the hotel Peter J helped check me in, he was lovely, so nice and upgrated me to a room with terrance. Honestly this made my stay, having an outdoor...

I came here with my wife for our wedding anniversary. This fact had been highlighted by the travel agent on our booking. As soon as we arrived the receptionist made us feel really welcome and immediately upgraded us from a double to a suite. He also gave us free WiFi, something we later realised was a big bonus. The room...

Staying in Chelsea

Neighbourhood Profile
Chelsea
Home to hundreds of art galleries, beautiful brownstones, and one of New York’s newest and most popular attractions, Chelsea is one of the city’s jewels when it comes to neighbourhood life. The contemporary art scene is an integral part of the neighbourhood’s identity, with gallery openings almost every night of the week and countless exhibits to explore. As a longtime hub of gay culture in New York City, it’s also a diverse district with a vibrant nightlife scene. The opening of the High Line, an abandoned elevated train track transformed into a world-class pedestrian park, gave this neighbourhood new life as a tourist destination. The High Line provides visitors with a tranquil, elevated space with incomparable views, providing an unparalleled way to experience the city.
