Very nice hotel in a great area and close to everything. Room was very basic but had two double beds which we needed for a price less than I could find anywhere else nearby. The lobby bellhops were excellent and this hotel was better value than nearby four-star hotel I stayed at on same trip before needing two double beds.

I do recommend the affinia! Great staff including Jen at the front desk. I really liked the location and the room was clean though had no view. We used the bed and pull ouy couch. The lobby was just remodeled though I wish they offered coffee for guests.

Although we do not offer coffee in the mornings in the lobby, we do our complimentary wine every evening. We hope you will join us for wine hour on your next visit. booked this room via Hotel Tonight, an app that features a few different hotels per day at a discounted rate. All that's promised is that the room will accommodate two people. Upon arrival, the concierge upgraded me to a one bedroom suite at no cost. I'm not quite sure why, but I gladly accepted. I stayed in room 2731, pictured...

Dear Nikos, Thank you for sharing your experience at our hotel. I am glad it was a positive one and that our staff was able to take good care of you. We were travelling with our teenage daughter and was pleasantly surprised that we were upgraded to a queen suite. The beds were extremely comfortable and the staff were all very friendly and accommodating. Check in and check out was very quick. Housekeeping set up the sofa bed and were extremely timely. I would definitely stay here again.

Can't fault the location. Central to everything but far enough away from times square that it is quiet. We had a one bed suite and the space was nice. The bathroom was tiny and you had to raise the toilet lid to be able to close the door. The elevator to exit at street level was broken our whole stay...

Great old hotel, with a beautifully redone lobby that leaves quite a first impression. The room was very clean and I really enjoyed the modernized decor. Like other Manhattan hotels, the room was a bit small, but they did a great job of utilizing the space available to allow for both a small sitting and desk area. Staff was very...

Dear toaster800, Thank you for the kind words and pointing out our newly renovated lobby. We tried to keep the decor modern without removing those old New York elements that add charm, such as the elevator doors and mail shoot. I am glad you enjoyed your stay and look forward to welcoming you again. All the Best, Joseph Kelly, General...

A great hotel in a great location. I read reviews before booking here, some good and some bad but I guess everyone has a different experience, based on mine I would recommend the Affinia highly. I was booked for nine nights in a studio but was upgraded to a one bedroom suite. I was on the 17th floor overlooking 31th...

Dear Mr. Norman B., Thank you for the great comments. I am glad you enjoyed the one-bedroom suite. Our team knows that guests who stay for an extended period of time (such as 9 nights) often like the extra space and kitchenettes that these rooms offer. We are also finding that many of our guests enjoy the new wine hour...

I arrived on July 25 and waited in line for over 15 mins to sign in. I was told that I was upgraded for my stay, given the keys to a room on 19th. I asked if the room that I ordered was the same for the upgrade but was not and it was actually less! I was then told...

Upon arriving at Affinia, the hotel was a breath of fresh air over our prior night's stay at another hotel in the same price range. We got an excellent value on American Express Travel. The Affinia Manhattan was a fantastic base for our trip to the Big Apple and it was lovely to return to the hotel and have a night cap is the lovely bar. We were very impressed with the Hotel and would definitely stay again. Rooms were lovely - only small criticism was the street noise.
