Fantastic location in the heart of Manhatten. First room heating broke so we had to move. Both rooms noisy but habitable although the bathrooms could do with an uplift. My main gripe is with the Management of the hotel. On arrival back in UK, I noticed that several hundred dollars had been taken off my credit card. I queried this...

From the moment I walked into the Stewart I knew I was in for a serious treat! Every employee that I interacted with truly encompassed the hospitality spirit and they went above and beyond their required roles (The front desk agent gave me and my brother a free upgrade and we got some great recommendations for restaurants/clubs in the area)....

I arrived in JFK last week on a busy Friday evening, I took the air train to Jamaica and then the LIRR to Penn Station (AKA the middle of Manhattan). Within 2 minutes of walking from the center of Manhattan I find myself in the luxurious Stewart Hotel. I was immediately greeted by the gracious general manger (I think his...

There are no words to describe the incredible experience I had at the Stewart Hotel. I went with my husband and two daughters and we had two separate rooms. Upon our arrival after an extremely stressful week we were greeted by Andrew and Eugy. It was an immediate feeling of welcome. Andrew insisted on giving us a very big upgrade...

I had booked this hotel in late November when it was still an Affinia and was surprised a few days prior to my arrival to find that it had re-branded as an independent hotel. I called to make sure that my booking was still in tact after this change, which it was. I was promised by the person I spoke...

I have been a regular guest (many times a year) at the Affinia at this address (now a Stewart hotel) for probably 7 or 8 years. The hotel is convenient for me (across 7th from Penn Station and near my office), but the real reason I keep going back is the staff. Although I'll give a special shout-out this time...

I travel a lot for work and have started to appreciate the details. I can safely say the Stewart Hotel cares more about the details than I do. I love the location, brand, feel and service. Everything was on-time and on-point. I was particularly impressed with Yaniv, the charismatic GM who personally greeted me upon my arrival. I will certainly...

Wow! I've stayed in hotels all over Manhattan and can honestly say The Stewart takes them all. Stayed here during a business trip to NYC and had a superb experience from pulling up in the taxi and all the way to checking out. Everything ran smooth with no waiting and in a friendly, professional atmosphere. The rooms and hotel facilities...

Booked the suite for my daughters 20th birthday. It surpassed her expectations!!! She loved it from the time that she entered. The suite was spacious and accommodate her and five friends for a night of games and movies. They found the room clean . It is a great location , they were able to easily access transportation to their dinner...

Staying in Chelsea

Neighbourhood Profile
Chelsea
Home to hundreds of art galleries, beautiful brownstones, and one of New York’s newest and most popular attractions, Chelsea is one of the city’s jewels when it comes to neighbourhood life. The contemporary art scene is an integral part of the neighbourhood’s identity, with gallery openings almost every night of the week and countless exhibits to explore. As a longtime hub of gay culture in New York City, it’s also a diverse district with a vibrant nightlife scene. The opening of the High Line, an abandoned elevated train track transformed into a world-class pedestrian park, gave this neighbourhood new life as a tourist destination. The High Line provides visitors with a tranquil, elevated space with incomparable views, providing an unparalleled way to experience the city.
