Ending up staying here last month last minute for business purposes. The hotel is in a very great location, that's what I look for the most when I stay at hotels. The room was extremely clean and the staff is wonderful. At the front desk Andrew helped me out to get a cab(new to the city) which was kind and...

Stayed here previously when it was The Manhattan, and received an upgrade to a 1 bedroom room. Nicely remodeled, though a bit stark in greys & creams. Included is a small kitchenette and the entire former apartment room has a cozy feeling. Would stay here again; extremely friendly staff with shoutout to Zoe!

My recent stay at The Stewart Hotel beat my original expectations. It was all thanks to the front desk employee, Andrew! He made my guests and I feel extremely welcomed and handled all my concerns and questions promptly as soon as they were known. Our arrival experience was a little rough but Andrew did everything in his power to make...

Nice deco in the rooms, but apparently they are going to be renovated with the new ownership. We just hope that the price won't go up to much, our Canadian $ being so low compared to the...

Get deathly ill every time I stay here. Can never get a live person when calling hotel. Location is great. That's about it if you don't mind an active fire station right next door and not being able to regulate the temperature of your room. Moving on.

From the time we stepped into the foyer of the Stewart Hotel, we knew we had made a great choice. Curtis helped us with our bags, we were very tired after a 22 hour flight from Australia. Andrew at the front desk has been a great help! We were given an upgrade, a bottle of wine, and a very warm...

We loved the hotel and the location. We got great service from Will when we checked in. Our room was spacious, bright and had great views. The layout worked for us because there we two bedrooms separated by a living area so my son and I had our own space for privacy. The bathroom was small but worked for us....

Neighbourhood Profile
Chelsea
Home to hundreds of art galleries, beautiful brownstones, and one of New York’s newest and most popular attractions, Chelsea is one of the city’s jewels when it comes to neighbourhood life. The contemporary art scene is an integral part of the neighbourhood’s identity, with gallery openings almost every night of the week and countless exhibits to explore. As a longtime hub of gay culture in New York City, it’s also a diverse district with a vibrant nightlife scene. The opening of the High Line, an abandoned elevated train track transformed into a world-class pedestrian park, gave this neighbourhood new life as a tourist destination. The High Line provides visitors with a tranquil, elevated space with incomparable views, providing an unparalleled way to experience the city.
