I travel the country all year long and come into contact with many front desk employees. By far the best has been Andrew. His professionalism is unmatched when it comes to assisting you. This hotel is a short walk to time square and 35-45 min subway ride to Brooklyn. I would've spent a ton in cab fares had it not...

We arrived at the Stewart hotel on honeymoon in march 2017. It was sold to us as a 4 star hotel in a good location by our travel agent. On arrival we thought great location as right across from penn station which we arrived into after our flight to Newark. We were given a one bedroom standard room and were...

I stayed here recently for a last minute business trip. I was delayed in Dallas and didn't arrive until late in the evening. The room I was given was sub-par and very noisy so I asked for an upgrade. I agreed to pay $100 a night for the upgrade. The room was much better but looked like a typical NYC...

Front desk Jenny and Margaret are so friendly, they always go above and beyond to find me the best possible room and they always have a smile on their faces. This is the best hotel in New York City, and the staff is what makes it so great! Elan is also great! Cant wait until my next stay.

This is my first return since the new ownership. Jenny greeted me with a pleasant attitude and was so helpful in securing a room to meet my needs and ensure I could check in right away. She upgraded my room and then followed up with a call to ensure everything was ok. The personal touch and outstanding service is the...

Stayed at this hotel for 6 nights in March 2017, we were attending the Billy Joel concert at Madison Square Garden, could not wish for a better located hotel, two min walk. Our room was on 9th floor and was in my opinion a little tired, but during this cold snap it was the windows which were the issue, they...

Staying in Chelsea

Neighbourhood Profile
Chelsea
Home to hundreds of art galleries, beautiful brownstones, and one of New York’s newest and most popular attractions, Chelsea is one of the city’s jewels when it comes to neighbourhood life. The contemporary art scene is an integral part of the neighbourhood’s identity, with gallery openings almost every night of the week and countless exhibits to explore. As a longtime hub of gay culture in New York City, it’s also a diverse district with a vibrant nightlife scene. The opening of the High Line, an abandoned elevated train track transformed into a world-class pedestrian park, gave this neighbourhood new life as a tourist destination. The High Line provides visitors with a tranquil, elevated space with incomparable views, providing an unparalleled way to experience the city.
