Poonam in the sales staff was extremely helpful in getting a group confirmed for us. She was quick to reply and flexible to what our needs were! Couldn't have closed this without her help! Thanks to the entire team & cant wait to stay with you all in June!

Front desk Jenny and Margaret are so friendly, they always go above and beyond to find me the best possible room and they always have a smile on their faces. This is the best hotel in New York City, and the staff is what makes it so great! Elan is also great! Cant wait until my next stay.

This is my first return since the new ownership. Jenny greeted me with a pleasant attitude and was so helpful in securing a room to meet my needs and ensure I could check in right away. She upgraded my room and then followed up with a call to ensure everything was ok. The personal touch and outstanding service is the...

Stayed at this hotel for 6 nights in March 2017, we were attending the Billy Joel concert at Madison Square Garden, could not wish for a better located hotel, two min walk. Our room was on 9th floor and was in my opinion a little tired, but during this cold snap it was the windows which were the issue, they...

Just came back from a few nights at the Stewart (formerly Affinia) hotel. Overall, it was decent. We stayed in a King Studio suite and the extra space was great. The kitchen area included a generously sized fridge, gas elements, oven, and pots/pans, etc....but oddly no micrrowave. The modernish finishings were nice and the location (right by Penn Station) was...

I deal with many hotels for our corporate meetings day-to-day business. The Stewart Hotel has offered us exceptional service; and is by far one of the best hotels we've been dealing with. Isabel, Adriana, Valeria, Steven, and Maria I. provided wonderful service and made our entire day fantastic. I would not hesitate to go back.

I have stayed here several times. I also had the pleasure of being checked in by Andrew at the front desk. He is always courteous and outgoing and makes sure I am satisfied with my room. The rooms are large, especially for New York City. Its located directly across the street from the famous Madison Square Garden and the rooms...

My company hosts many events throughout the NYC, but when we host them at The Stewart (formerly the Affinia), I know there is nothing to worry about. At first my team was nervous about the switch, but they kept top talents such as Sylwia and Brian who alleviate the pressure of hosting an event while at the same time making...

Staying in Chelsea

Neighbourhood Profile
Chelsea
Home to hundreds of art galleries, beautiful brownstones, and one of New York’s newest and most popular attractions, Chelsea is one of the city’s jewels when it comes to neighbourhood life. The contemporary art scene is an integral part of the neighbourhood’s identity, with gallery openings almost every night of the week and countless exhibits to explore. As a longtime hub of gay culture in New York City, it’s also a diverse district with a vibrant nightlife scene. The opening of the High Line, an abandoned elevated train track transformed into a world-class pedestrian park, gave this neighbourhood new life as a tourist destination. The High Line provides visitors with a tranquil, elevated space with incomparable views, providing an unparalleled way to experience the city.
