We stayed at The Manhatten for our first visit to NY. It was a fabulous heartwarming experience. The staff were so helpful. Especially Mohammed and Dolly at the breakfast bar.!!! They helped us plan our day, prepared us with valuable information so that we spent our time enjoying NY than trying to figure out what and where to go. They...

Very fabulous hotel with good view within walking distance of Times Square which was good. Limited to 1 pastry, 1 piece of fruit and 1 drink per morning that is the only negative thing I can say about it.

We needed an affordable hotel in proximity to Times Square & The Met, so I went to Tripadvisor and found this hotel. We were all happy with the hotel. Nothing too fancy, but the hotel provided exactly what they advertised. The staff at the hotel, from the valet/doorman, to the bell staff, to the front desk staff were great and...

I stayed here for literally one night. It was good for the price. It has since been renovated so could be better now. The service was excellent but the room wasn't that clean. They kept our bags safe while we toured the city and then headed to our flight. Nearby there are great cafes and breakfast spots. And Times Square...

We arrived early (around noon) to the hotel with plans to store our luggage until we could check in. Fortunately, they had a room ready and allowed us to check in early. We stayed on the executive level. Originally, I had booked a standard room, but I asked for an upgrade when we arrived. They were able to accommodate us,...

Perhaps I got a room that was not renovated but this hotel was pretty terrible - carpets disgusting, wall paper peeling, taps not closing properly. Bed was ok itself which is why this gets 2 and not 1 rating. There is no hot breakfast and you have to queue in the evening to get into the elevator to get to...

The hotel has a good location, just a few steps away and you're in the heart of Times Square. Staff is very friendly and accommodating, most especially Mohammed and Dolly of the Starbucks in the ground floor.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
