Stayed 5 nights on cash rate $279, not bad for price for NYC. While this hotel is in Times Square, it's on the northern edge and is a bit out of the madness of TS. You can come out the front door, turn left on 7th Ave and be out of Times Square in a block or so. There are numerous subway stations close by, but I was counciled by my NYC friends not to ride the subway. Right or wrong I took their advice but Ubers & taxi's added up. Checked in at 2:30 and asked if I wanted high floor or low and opted for high, so FDA told me she had 2 bed room on 19th floor. Fine, just me but 2 beds is ok, some place to put some of my crap. I think they were 2 doubles rather than 2 queens. She explained the “destination fee” (see photo), which I hate but actually provides some value. I used…

Situated right on the edge of Times Square, with marvellous views of the whole space from the restaurant, the Renaissance is an absolute gem of a place. From the moment we checked in to the moment we checked out, every member of staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and valued. The room and bedding were spotlessly clean and although we were only on the 6th floor and in spitting distance of Times Square itself, we hardly heard a sound from outside. Instead of moaning about the resort fee, we made full use of it and opted to take breakfast and one evening meal at the hotel. The breakfasts were excellent, with plenty of choice. And dinner surpassed expectations - the cocktails even more so. I cannot fault the Renaissance and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to…

Positives: room furniture, amenities, bathroom, breakfast, cleaning, position, nice stuff. Negative: after 9 working days from check out - still not receive the 500 $ guarantee. very difficult to contact the hotel and impossible to have one simple conversation with them; Recommendation; add some vegetable at breakfast.

Stayed 3 nights with kids 13 and 11. The hotel is located in the heart of time square, every place we looked up to walk was only 7 minutes away. Lively bar scene at night and great views, yet our room was quiet at night. Rooms are standard New York size but clean and nicely outfitted. Exceptional service. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Right in the heart of Times Square this hotel is a perfect location. Hotel is stylish and the staff and very friendly. It’s €30 a night in taxes but you do get this back to spend in the bar/restaurant daily. One morning we decided to go for breakfast at the hotel, it was €30 each so we only paid for 1. Sadly is was very poor, the hot food was tepid and not that great at all. Not worth €30 for two people. They do supply shampoo, conditioner, body wash etc which were good sizes and also replenished. We had a coffee machine, I only drink tea so I was pleased to see they had a tea sachet option. The tea came out tasting of coffee so this wasn’t the best. Overall though, I’d recommend this hotel.

We had such an amazing time at this hotel. Is it a great location very clean and the staff was amazing to name a few when you’re greeted downstairs they have Taylor, Justin and Valentino. All amazing employees very kind and went out of their way to help us …also the restaurant beautiful view good food (they have no entrées wish the menu was a bit bigger, but nevertheless,) we had Mohammed as the host and he was so wonderful We had a mixup with our Valentine’s Day reservation at a different restaurant and showed up at the last minute and he was able to adjust a few things and get us a spot at the last minute with a great view. Our waitress was Marlene. For dinner and we had Micheal in the morning for breakfast great time with both servers ..Food was delicious. The room was…

Unlike other hotels this one is actually right in the heart of Times Square so if you are wanting a central location then this is the place for you. Having been to New York on previous occasions we came across this hotel and decided that on our next trip this would be where we would base ourselves. Prior to our arrival we had contacted the hotel with all of questions and request being answered promptly. Check-in was smooth and hassle free which was appreciated after a long day spent travelling. Our room was also ready ahead of the guaranteed check-in time! Our room was on the 24th floor with it offering the views you would expect from a New York City hotel. The room was pleasant and provided all the usual mod cons although looking tired in places. The bed was superb, huge…

My experience at the New York Times Square renaissance hotel was the best New Year’s Eve hotel experience I received. I was here to celebrate the new year in Times Square which became the very first time I ever celebrated New Year’s Eve in Times Square in person. Everything here was great and the management was best. I also liked the fact that while I was waiting to bring food back to my room, I got to find a window so I could get a photo of myself to celebrate the new year in style. I totally recommend this hotel for anyone who wants a hotel to stay at during New Year’s Eve, and those who wanna stay at a hotel very close to Times Square. I am genuinely thankful for the opportunity I got to have. I hope to stay here again!

We stayed here on the 12th of December for 6 nights! It’s in a great location in Times Square and the rooms was always nice and clean with great views of Times Square! The food was really nice and the staff was all friendly!! The only one bad thing I experienced is that I wasn’t to know that they charge $100 per night as it didn’t state this on virgin holidays so we had to pay $600 plus the $30 plus tax per night so just be warned if your going to stay there and are on a budget!! Other than that it’s a really nice hotel! Also when stying in Times Square watch out for the scammers they are all dressed up and say take a picture but then demand money off of u
