I stayed here on business and was very impressed. The lobby bar overlooking Times Square is incredible. The rooms were spacious and incredibly quiet for the City. It is much more quaint than the Marquis across the street. Will stay here again.

This hotel is a smaller boutique style hotel. Staff was very good. Location was good. Parking is valet and off site so you have to call ahead for the car. Very European feel with smaller rooms but enjoyable and comfortable.

The location of the Renaissance Hotel cannot get better. The staff was courteous, but the front check-in desk was a little subpar, yet efficient. The elevator systems was a bit surprising: a first set only gets you to the first “Lobby” floor, where you need to figure out that a second set few steps away will get you to the...

The staff couldn't be more friendly or helpful! The location is perfect for numerous must-see tourist attractions on foot and also very close to uptown and downtown subways. Our room was a decent size with very comfortable beds and loads of fresh linens supplied daily; it was a bit dusty but that was remedied when brought to the attention of...

I admit this was my first time to visit the city for fun. My family and I really enjoyed this place for convenience, the staff, and the hotel itself. It also has a killer bar that looks over the square, worth a visit even if you do not stay here. The same room serves as the breakfast room if you...

Hotel was a bit pricey but considering everything in Times Square is, it was a great hotel. Found staff to be very friendly. Room was clean. Not overly large but I'm told that's the norm. Very close for walking and the view from the bar is amazing. Must mention the Concierge who was extremely helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

I took my daughter to New York to celebrate her 13th birthday and I chose to stay here. The location is amazing with easy access to everything either by walking, cab or subway. Our room faced Broadway, so a view of the Hershey store was fun for her. The R Lounge faces Times Square and offers a fun atmosphere for...

We stayed four nights at this hotel at the end of April 2013 and absolutely loved it. Clean rooms, modern walk in shower and super king size beds. We were located on the 11th floor in an excellent room in the perfect location overlooking Broadwayand very quiet it was too.The hotel's continental breakfast daily was $19 per person but good...

I've been to this bar twice. First time as a couple for cocktails before our night out. Nice drinks, great view of the Times Square lights! Second time, as a group of 6 for cocktails before evening out. Good drinks, very nice waiter, but we didn't have a reservation so we didn't get seats with a view. We were there...

I stayed at The Renaissance in 2009, with my sister and daughter on a tribute trip to my sister who had recently passed away. The location could not be better and the hotel was very nice. The only complaint I would have is, the bathroom door at the time was just a slider. It just didn't seem as private as...

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
