Would definitely stay here again. Room was clean and modern. Location was great and only 4 blocks from subway. Bathroom was a bit on the smaller side, but sufficient. Great staff - would definitely recommend!

This hotel is steady but unspectacular. For a Marriott it is not terribly grand. As NYC goes, the common spaces are typically small in size and rooms are just fine. Service is excellent. Location is prime - a few blocks from Grand Central Station and behind the Waldorf Astoria.

We had a great stay at the Marriott Eastside. This is a great location on Lexington Ave. The hotel is diagonal from the Waldorf~Astoria where the DCAT convention was going on. My suite was spacious with a nice view of the Chrysler Building. The staff was very friendly. Check in was quick. My room was ready at 11:00 AM when...

I've stayed here many times. They provide excellent service, with great facilities. The breakfast is a bit skimpy, but adequate. It is not far to some great sites, including Times Square, Grand Central Station, Park Avenue, the UN, etc.

First let me state that my boyfriend and I were really looking forward to visiting NYC. We've stayed at Marriott locations before in other states, but this by far was not our favorite. Although the hotel is beautiful near the front desk, there was a lady who worked at the front desk who was very rude.....I mean unnecessarily rude. BRIEF...

Stayed here at the last minute becasue a business meeting ran late. Check in was with a young lady who wasn't particularly friendly, but hey, it was late. I Picked this 4* property because I wanted to order room service after a long work day. SURPRISE! No room service. Hey Marriott, you need to re-brand this property so business travellers...

I try to always stay at Marriott when travelling in the US or abroad because I have found that there is a basic service that never disappoints. This was not the case at the East Side Marriott where I recently stayed. The disappointment for me was the concierge service upstairs-I believe the 16th floor. The evening cocktail offered Scampi or...

I have unfortunately stayed at this hotel three times this last year and each time, I have paid an exorbitant amount for a small, dark and dreary room. This last time, last week, when I checked in, the man at the Elite desk thanked me for my loyalty in being a Gold member and said he had a nice room...

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
