We stayed here for 3 nights in a suite, the hotel is a bit dated, the staff were very helpful, room was a bit dated as well, really clean though, the elevator is always busy!! the breakfast was a bit of a disappointment, the staff seemed very busy with very little time to top up the buffet as it had...

We did a lot of research before coming to NYC and for the price the room is quite big by NY standards. Plenty of room for our family of 4. Room has 2 queen beds and sleeper sofa too. Beds are super comfy bathroom all marble with an amazing shower, we have an amazing bathroom at home but this shower...

Rooms were clean, comfortable, tastefully decorated, spacious. Shower was exceptional. They anticipated every need and filled it before you could ask for it. Personnel was always friendly and anxious to help. Parking garage next door was very convenient and reasonably priced. The only slight inconvenience was a bit of a wait being seated for breakfast due to limited seating. We...

I had stayed at the Blakely some time ago and was looking forward to a return visit. Unfortunately, it doesn't look as if they have put any money into the hotel since my last visit. The rooms are very threadbare with peeling wallpaper, threadbare furniture and a mildew smell because of the condensation on the terrible window air conditioner. The...

The Blakely New York was a great place to stay. We were on the 14th floor and any noise from the street (expected in New York) was minimal. The 1 bedroom we had was a good size and the kitchenette with refrigerator and microwave made the stay even better. We did not use the on-site restaurant or bar but it...

Me and my mom went to New York for spring break. This hotel was pretty small. The rooms were small but clean. The breakfast was okay. They didn't have a big selection. But it was very clean. I felt like everything was clean and I'm vey picky about cleanness. The staff were very nice.

I like staying at the Blakely whenever I'm in New York. The best part is the complimentary breakfast. Every single time I've stayed here I've been upgraded to a suite. The one negative I have is the WiFi. No matter what room you stay in, the WiFi is the slowest I've even seen. This year, I had a suite on...

Stayed for 4 nights, quiet (except for the air-con), clean and comfortable. Walking distance from the subway which links with the JFK's sky train, Time Square, Central Park etc. Free buffet breakfast was adequate with cereal, bread, pastries and fruit, expect to leave min $2 per person tip. Would stay here again and recommend to others.

Pros: Good location, close to everything. Good value for Manhattan. Cons: Hotel and rooms are a bit run down and out dated. Understaffed our entire stay. Front desk, concierge, bellman and restaurant staff running like crazy to help patrons. Breakfast was sparse, restaurant was not very clean. Hard to get coffee and find clean cups to use. Juice and water...

Stayed here on a weekend visit to NYC. Purchased our room on Snique Away. com for a discounted price. We were very pleased with our rooms! We had a standard room and a deluxe suite. The rooms include a breakfast and discounted parking. Would definitely stay here again on our next visit.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
