It was my first experience after 25 years of traveling all over the world, when I find the perfect location, with a decent price and a very friendly staff. Times Square it's at a glance, and the Rum House downstairs with live music every night. Rooms are big enough, I felt almost like home with my three girls, which usually...

Wow..what a location! Just up the road from Times Square. Big Hotel where the staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were of a decent size with two large double beds, air conditioning,TV, Radio alarm clock and a bathroom with bath/shower. We didn't have the best of views but, you are in the concrete city! We didn't use the hotel...

I had a terrible experience at this hotel (23rd-30th March 2017) - booked it through Barrhead Travel - who I will never ever use again, they have the WORST customer service I have ever experienced! When we arrived at 2 o'clock (check in time) we were told that we had to come back at 3 as the room wasn't ready....

The Edison has historically been a favorite reasonably priced nicely updated hotel in a prime Times Square location. Staff is very friendly. Disappointed that the access to 46th street is under construction. All updating of the facility has been tastefully done. Challenges for elevator access exist at heavy traffic times, which was annoying. Still aloof forward to returning.

I travel to NYC a couple times a year and have been staying at the Hotel Edison for 5 years now and have always enjoyed my stay. Their location is perfectly centralized to get around town, no matter where you want to go. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. I love the updated signature rooms.

Myself and my son (16) stayed here from 12th to 15th April. The locations is absolutely perfect for sight seeing and walking around Manhattan. We had booked a twin room but when checking in Sam explained that there were non available. He said he could put us in a wheelchair accessible room with 1 queen bed and supply a roll...

Family recommended the hotel. Apparently some rooms are updated. I stayed in the "classic" king on the 3rd floor. Eeekkk! Classic= archaic!! Location of hotel is great, but my experience was bad. Couldn't check in until after 3, had to pay to have your bags held until room was ready. Then I had to go into the bag storage area...

We arrived here for a one night stay after flying in from NZ. Service at the front desk was ok, not the most friendly I have encountered. Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
