have stayed at many different hotels in NYC and this one was pretty good. The room was a decent size and quiet. Staff were helpful and pleasant. The breakfast was good and had a good selection. Coffee and tea were available all the time and the coffee was good, which isn't always the case. There was a fridge in the... More

The state of the hotel is disgusting, extremely dirty all over the place, the rooms are tiny and uncomfortable plus you can hear every sound of the contiguous room, (and when I say every sound I mean it) the tv barely works and the wifi could not be slower, it disconnects every 5 minutes, at least in our room the... Stayed in two twin rooms adjoined. Nice and clean added to the fact it's in a fantastic location. Good value for money considering all things! Walking distance from Times Square and very easily identifiable landmark locations next to it I.E the flatiron building.

By far the worst hotel experience I have ever had. I haven’t felt this way since Gerrard did the slip against Chelsea. First of all there is some crazy woman running around in the breakfasts area, screaming all over the place, and splashing waffles all over the place like she was having a seizure. She was obviously high on some... More

Can honestly say that I have had the pleasure of staying here twice with business. Yes it is dated in places and needs an update (when compared to more swankier establishments) However if you take this hotel for what it is - Budget, No frills, solid service, well located, then you cant complain. This hotel is great to lay your... More

As with most hotels not all rooms are the same. This was a decent size although bathroom a bit small but was a welcome change from where we were staying. Staff were very friendly and as you are in nyc you only need it to sleep and shower in. Would stay again

We staid here unfortunately for 5 nights. Price / location looked about right, and having been several times in NYC I knew the room would be uncomfortable small. We were a group of friends who stayed at the Heritage Hotel from late August to early september. Staying in Flatiron District

Neighbourhood Profile
Flatiron District
Offering many of city’s best restaurants and shops set amid classic New York architecture, the Flatiron District is no longer under the tourist radar. At 23rd Street is the famous triangular Flatiron Building, which makes a good picture no matter what angle you photograph it from. Be sure to look up at the elegant architecture as you stroll the streets- much of this neighborhood is part of a historic district that was home to many of the city’s most famous department stores at the turn of the century. At the northern end of the neighbourhood, Madison Square Park is best known for being the home of a famous burger shack, but it can also be a quiet refuge to spend an afternoon, and it frequently hosts interesting public art exhibits. In the lower part of the Flatiron District you'll find Union Square, a bustling crossroads at all times of day and night.
