Hotel's location is great, right on Broadway and 5th Avenue and a few minutes walk to ESB and other attractions. There's a SuperMarket just round the corner so you can stock up. There are also Metro stations nearby. We got a room on top floor with amazing view to ESB. Room was clean with a comfortable king size bed. Wifi,...

I was fortunate to have found this old charm hotel in NYC for less than $100. I stayed for two nights, and was able to have a restful sleep. The bed was comfortable and the room was very clean. They offer the basic toiletries; hair dryer, and a security deposit box was a welcome amenity, big enough to store your...

It was absolutely not value for money. We fell into the trap of price but we paid double price with this hotel. The general feeling in this hotel that you are in a completely run-down, shabby place. The only thing we liked about the hotel is the location. It is absolutely in the center walking distance from the Empire State...

I spend at least 2 months every year in NYC and I normally use another hotel but during my last trip - the past 3 weeks - I decided to try this hotel for the reason that it is close to the Flat Iron place where I had planned many meetings. As soon as we entered the main door we...

The room was small, but very clean. Beds were ok. We had two rooms for 7 people and it was fine for a one night stay. Location was great, we were able to walk most everywhere. We'd stay again. Breakfast was average, but did the trick.

Out-dated hotel, with gentle staff, good service, good beds, lovely shower. The breakfast is very poor. Instant scrambled eggs. I didn't like it at all. Plastic plates and more. Could and should be much better! Noisy airco also. It was minus 10(C), so we had to heat the room. Very good location, within 5 minutes, three different Subway-stations. Very close...

As a former Comfort Inn, Heritage sticks to the same formula. Lower prices than most Chelsea hotels and a great location between 5th and 6th Ave. There's a free breakfast with mostly pre-packaged bagels, pastry, cereal, but you can make your own waffle and there are apples and bananas. My room was small but adequate for one, with a queen...

The Heritage hotel is centrally located, within walking distance from the Manhattan area. The hotel rooms are quite small, however, the location made up for it.The rooms were fairly clean and continental breakfast was available, the eating area seems a bit small to accommodate the guests though. Coffee or tea was made available 24 hours. The stay was great, I...

Stayed for 3 nights in The Heritage Hotel. Very good value for money and a great location in Manhattan. Lots of restaurants, bars and interesting places nearby, and a flea market just across the road.

Stayed here on a trip with a family member. We had two double beds but to our surprise, our room was so small that the beds were basically pushed together. Staying in Flatiron District

Neighbourhood Profile
Flatiron District
Offering many of city’s best restaurants and shops set amid classic New York architecture, the Flatiron District is no longer under the tourist radar. At 23rd Street is the famous triangular Flatiron Building, which makes a good picture no matter what angle you photograph it from. Be sure to look up at the elegant architecture as you stroll the streets- much of this neighborhood is part of a historic district that was home to many of the city’s most famous department stores at the turn of the century. At the northern end of the neighbourhood, Madison Square Park is best known for being the home of a famous burger shack, but it can also be a quiet refuge to spend an afternoon, and it frequently hosts interesting public art exhibits. In the lower part of the Flatiron District you'll find Union Square, a bustling crossroads at all times of day and night.
