The Iroquois works. It's in a perfect Midtown location....minutes from TimeSquare and all the hustle and bustle, yet once you step inside the lobby and especially the rooms, it's a peaceful oasis. The staff is very attentive and the place is impeccably clean.

The Hotel was good people were great -except the Bar - thy were rude and unfriendly- they are not interested in your business if you have more than a few people in your group. The hotel and staff was very good but if you have a group you may want to look elsewhere if you plan on getting a drink...

Dear MJalrightalright Thank you for sharing your feedback after your most recent visit with us. I really appreciate the kind words about the hotel and the team. I am disappointed, though, that you did not enjoy your experience at Lantern's Keep. As you saw, it is a very small bar and therefore unable to accommodate a party of your size...

My daughter, cousin, and I stayed here for three nights in March. I would highly recommend this charming hotel. The rooms were huge, by New York standards, and service was superb. We were greeted with chocolates every night, and the front desk staff was very helpful in answering our questions. The beds were very comfortable.

We have stayed here several times. You can't beat the location just a block from all the action in Times Square, but very quiet. Rooms are NY small, but very nice. Marble baths, nice bedding and flat screen TVs. Library in lobby really cozy and great to have a nice coffee or tea which is complimentary. Staff is very friendly...

My wife and I stayed overnight to celebrate a weekend getaway in NYC to see a show and see some of the sights for our anniversary. We took a train in to get an early start and were expecting to drop off our bag and be on our way to check in later. The staff was great and checked us...

I highly recommend it for location, value and service! The only comment I have is that The Triomphe restaurant breakfast price is ridiculously high! Cafe Boulud is next door and phenomenal! I truly enjoyed the staff and the little morning coffee library with the WSJ and NYT!

We were very happy with our stay. The location can't be beat, we walked everywhere or took the metro from grand Central (just 2 blocks away). Comfortable beds, slept very well. Entire staff was very welcoming and helpful. We recommend the Iroquois and would stay again. Two things to note, there is no coffee maker in room, they do offer...

The Iroquois is an excellent location. Close to everything in Midtown Manhattan, but also away from the crush on Times Square. A comfortable although small room (hey, it's NYC) and friendly and helpful staff. This was our second stay. We would definitely recommend to others.

Highly recommend the Iroquois! It's a beautiful historic hotel, with a midtown location that makes it convenient to the theatre district. We received great service from a very professional staff, and really enjoyed our stylish room and extremely comfy bed. I would also like to mention their Library just off the lobby--a coffee and tea room with books and newspapers...

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
