The only good thing about this hotel is the bell service and location. The front desk staff is not friendly. I could never get to my room in a timely manor due to blocked stairs and a 5+ minute elevator wait. Takes 30+ minutes to get your car from valet. I was concerned of the fire hazards in the rooms...

This was a very special hotel for a special occasion for family and friends. The service was impeccable. The room was very comfortable if small, but we expected small. We loved the tour made available gratis for the area.

A very nice Hotel with charm and excellent service. If you are seeing a show or want a great central location in NYC this is the place. The real charm is that you are on a quiet almost dignified street. Yet only 2 blocks from the bustle of Times Square.

The Iroquois gets "Very Good" from me only because of its excellent location. Right in the heart of Manhattan, on the street with the smartest private clubs, NY Yacht Club, The Penn, The Harvard Club etc, close to Times Square and Fifth Avenue, it is perfectly placed for sightseeing, shopping and theatres. I was looking forward to my stay as...

This hotel, due to its manageable scale, feels more like a luxurious private residence than a hotel. Every single staff member was extremely friendly and helpful and the concierge is very efficient. An EXCELLENT location on top of all other pluses. Hope to be back in NYC and this hotel in the not too distant future.

I would stay here again. The bed and pillows were the most comfortable that I have ever had at a hotel. The room was so quiet that I slept all night without waking even though I was concerned I was only on the 2nd floor. I was afraid of the nighttime noise from sirens, etc., but was so surprised the...

Perfect position, friendly staff, helpful Concierge, clean rooms, good wi-fi connection...what we expected. Appreciate the complimentary newspaper, coffee in the morning. We were given a bottle of wine since it was our honeymoon.....we would comeback!

I love this hotel. It's small & has a European flair. The rooms are charming, tidy, and on the small side but perfectly appointed. There are older rooms and more modern rooms, depending on your taste. I like a room that looks out right on 44th Street. This hotel also has a wonderful restaurant downstairs as well as a popular and...

Rooms were comfortable but small dark and horrible outlook. No upgrade for me as an SLH member. Breakfast offered free then charged for, charges deducted but took time to sort them out. My colleagues also stayed strong the hotel and they shared the same opinion as myself. Would we return, perhaps not, So looking for a good hotel in NY...

Dear raymondjm2017 Thank you for choosing The Iroquois on your most recent visit to New York. It disappoints me to read your feedback, as I feel we did not offer our typical levels of service to you or your colleagues. For that, I am sorry. I have sent you a separate note, and hopefully we can have a chat about...

The Iroquois is a great place to stay. It is small, comfortable, quiet, perfectly located for the opera, museums, Broadway, and great range of mid-town restaurants. The staff is highly competent, professional, and cordial. The options for food and drink are high-quality, and shhhh it's not advertised so I probably shouldn't mention it but there's a wee bar/speakeasy/clubby (?) sort...

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
