I am a seasoned traveler - domestic and international - and I have never, ever felt compelled to write a review, but this hotel has forced my hand. I got a $239 all-in "deal" on a double room at the Park Savoy on Hotels.com five days prior to my visit. Because it was important to me to be near the...

I must agree with recent reviews - just OK and would not search out to book in the future, but would stay if the price is right and nothing else available. All the staff were great and location was good depending on what you wanted to do. There was a little more of the tourist assaulting by vendors in this...

Stayed here twice recently. The building is very old. The elevator takes forever if you have time to wait for it , I did stairs. Rooms are very very small no view, no closets just tiny half cabinets. I was still on the bed on my laptop reading the matrass under me started to shake for no reason... I gave...

Location was prime, a block from Central Park, a couple blocks from 5th Ave, and 10min walk to Times Square. Free wifi was sometimes spotty and shower temperature was either scalding or ice cold. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Free breakfast wasn't extravagant but something included is better than nothing! Great for the one night we stayed.

My girlfriend and I, living in Germany, went to visit my family upstate. In order to cut down on travel we broke our return trip into two days, opting to spend one in NY before flying the next day. We booked Park Savoy because it was conveniently located and relatively inexpensive for Manhattan. Unfortunately the stay, while bearable, was probably...

Okay first things first....prepare to lower your standards if you are trying to save a couple of bucks. Not going to lie, as I was entering the building I was praying I didn't witness anything I couldn't unsee or hear but it really wasn't that bad. This hotel is OLD. I'm talking box spring mattress with a rail head board....

Magnificient location nearby Central Park! Free WiFi! Your own bathroom! The room is small but it's enough to have a rest! We came "home" just to sleep. Normal bed and not noisy (I know what noisy means after the previous hotel!!!) I really recommend. Very comfortable and cheap for room with own bathroom!!!!

The hotel is such a great location, Right next to central park and a short walk from 5th avenue and times square. However after visiting New York for the first time I now know location isn't important. Its so easy to get around New York on the underground you can stay anywhere and still see what you want to see...

For the money and location this place is good. Room was clean. However, it took forever, it seemed, to get hot water in the shower and the tv didn't work. But I didn't really care because I only needed a place to sleep and shower. I'd stay again for sure.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
