My friend and I just stayed there for two nights. I was surprised at the cleanliness of the room and the up to date paint, wood moldings, windows & bath fixtures. Small but a great value. Linens were fresh and ironed. The staff were more than friendly and courteous. I would definitely return and recommend to others. The location is...

I recently stayed at the Cosmopolitan hotel with a group for a production shooting in NYC. Rachelle helped us book a block of rooms for our cast and crew and I had a wonderful experience working with her! She was very flexible and patient with our last-minute changes and was able to give us a rate within our budget. The...

This hotel is perfectly located if you want to be close by Battery Park, Ground Zero, Wall Street, etc... We asked for a quiet room and were pleasantly surprised by the total silence. This is NYC after all. Room and bathroom were super clean. Even though the adjacent cafe was not really good for breakfast, you just have to cross...

The hotel is conveniently situated - right next to one of the main Metro lines. There are little café's close to the hotel, but they aren't open until very late. The staff are friendly and efficient, and it's a great place just to use as a lock up-and-go. There are no extra's and it is impersonal, and is relatively old....

Staying in TriBeCa

Neighbourhood Profile
TriBeCa
What’s in a name? In this case it is the unique title of “Triangle Below Canal Street” that became a popular nickname in the 1970s. An attractive neighbourhood filled with handsome lofts on the edge of the Financial District, this lovely slice of Manhattan offers plenty of fine dining experiences and art galleries. Plus, it’s home to the city’s most exciting film event, the Tribeca Film Festival, that takes place here every year. TriBeCa is a great place to take a leisurely stroll before stopping into one of the many local restaurants or bars for a satisfying meal and cocktail. You’ll see families out for an afternoon walk, and don’t be surprised to come up with the occasional celebrity sighting. With such a great vibe, many of the city’s most famous residents call this neighbourhood home.
