In the process of remodeling and our room though tiny was beautifully done and impeccably clean. Staff appeared knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. Location was perfect for walking excursions but worked well for us driving into the city. It was easy to get into and back out of the city from here. The hotel itself, and the unloading area was difficult...

I recently stayed here for 7 nights & was very happy with the room & affordable price. It is basic accom but excellent location & well kept premises. The only constructive criticism would be that there aren't in-room coffee/tea facilities, which was inconvenient only due to me being awake at 2.30am on overseas calls & it would have been nice....

The Cosmopolitan Hotel in Tribeca is a wonderful little boutique hotel spot that I recommend to all. It is fun, clean, comfortable and the customer service is outstanding! There are also great places to eat within walking distance.

Don't know if the fact my room was located on the second floor was the reason for the noise, but I did hear trucks most of the night. The room was small but fine for one person. Can't beat the location. Fitness room was small but I was the only person in it. Liked the shower.

I enjoyed my stay- there was some street noise, but it's New York, so that's to be expected. It was minimal in the evenings. The hotel rooms are beautiful, the staff is friendly and efficient. I greatly enjoyed my stay.

I really enjoyed staying here! The beds are super comfortable, shower is great and convenient location right next to the tube. The beds I would recommend taking a queen as the king is bigger than a king and the queen is the size of a king size in the UK. Would love to stay here again!

HIghly recommend this historic hotel. It has been refurbished and the customer service is excellent. It's spotless, comfortable (excellent beds, as well as bed and bath linens), nice complimentary toiletries, and conveniently located near restaurants, WTC, shopping, subway. Front desk staff is knowledgeable, even for those visiting the city for the first time.

Very convenient for downtown sights including locality restaurants and bars plus minutes from sub way.Rooms are clean and quality okay very small even by UK standards, no room to even balance one's case horizontal except on the bed. Not enough storage for even one person travelling on hand luggage.Beyond check in and cleaning no other services or communal areas ....

Great location in the Tribeca area, easily walk to many attractions and great bars and restaurants. Upgrading a slow elevator system, but on the lower floors, not a big deal. Go see Patience at Patriot Bar on the corner, and make the Trek to Wogie's and see Hope, Doug, and the crew. Great experience for a big city. 44 Trinity...

Cozy room fitted witg everything you need for a comfortable stay. Situated near lots of restaurants - an easy walk to lots of choices. The construction on the hotel impacts the lobby and one elevator but did not detract from a nice place to stay.

Staying in TriBeCa

Neighbourhood Profile
TriBeCa
What’s in a name? In this case it is the unique title of “Triangle Below Canal Street” that became a popular nickname in the 1970s. An attractive neighbourhood filled with handsome lofts on the edge of the Financial District, this lovely slice of Manhattan offers plenty of fine dining experiences and art galleries. Plus, it’s home to the city’s most exciting film event, the Tribeca Film Festival, that takes place here every year. TriBeCa is a great place to take a leisurely stroll before stopping into one of the many local restaurants or bars for a satisfying meal and cocktail. You’ll see families out for an afternoon walk, and don’t be surprised to come up with the occasional celebrity sighting. With such a great vibe, many of the city’s most famous residents call this neighbourhood home.
