Just returned from 5 days at the Salisbury Hotel - would recommend it to anyone looking for a great location, good service, large comfortable rooms and reasonable prices. As with some of the other reviewers, we were upgraded from our double we had reserved through...More
We arrived 3rd June 2005 and were greeted by very helpful staff.
We stayed in a suite which was very reasonably priced, it was very spacious, had plenty of wardrobes and was kept very clean.
Breakfast at $3 a day was very reasonable and it...More
Thanks to TripAdvisor we booked the Salisbury Hotel for 1 week in May 05. We expected a double room but were allocated a suite. The suite had very large, well equipped sitting room and bedroom and was very clean. The continental breakfast at $3 has...More
Not a fancy hotel but the location is fantastic, the room accomodated 5 of us with closets to spare and the price was amazing. We took advantage of the $3 continental breakfat with pastries, toast, cereal, fruit and boiled eggs---spartan but cheap, fresh and filling...More

This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the
affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.

Hi - I don't remember specifically; however, I do know it was a charge we did not feel was justified and therefore, we did not use our wifi at the hotel. It was in teh $20-$25 range and it was a PER DEVICE charge, not per room. We went to a Starbucks close by when we needed it. We have 4 children, 2 of whom are teenagers and they LOVE their wifi, however, they did not complain about this once, probably because we were out so much. If I were traveling for business and had work to do, this might be a concern for me. For us, it wasn't an issue. Hope that helps.
