The hotel is perfectly located. Rooms are a bit dated and not everything works but it does the job. The hotel is pretty noisy, so you hear other rooms a bit too good from time to time. However would recommend it for the location and if you are around for business and want a decent price pointZ
The hotel is a standard mid market business hotel with small rooms. In the middle of multiple other buildings, there are no views. I had a top floor room overlooking some office buildings. The hotel does not have a pool, as most Manhattan hotels do not have pools. They do have a small gym in basement. The hotel is attached to a restaurant bar. Also, there is a small plaza in front of hotel to sit and relax.(since the lobby is tiny) My expectations were to have a clean and comfortable room and I was satisfied. Basic décor. Small bathroom with shower. Wifi was ok with multiple devices. Good housekeeping with free bottled water everyday. Starbucks nearby and Fulton subway close by. Location was good for sightseeing. $50 Uber from LaGuardia. I did have breakfast, limited to 4 menu options, basic but good, Service was prompt. Restaurant dinning room is dark. Finally the best part. Each and every interaction with the front desk Ladies was outstanding. Very friendly and professional. They seem like they enjoy their job. Like I said, satisfied with a clean and comfortable mid level basic business hotel.…
Got to the hotel late at night and there was no one to check us into the hotel. When someone finally arrived they said that they were updating their systems so we had to wait in the lobby for a half an hour instead of being checked in and going to sleep. The person at the front desk was incredibly rude and did not try any workarounds. In the morning I spoke with the hotel and they offered us 25% off of 1 night of our stay even though we were staying for 6 nights. This offer was in my opinion completely ridiculous. I decided to check out after one night. They offered to refund 5 of the 6 nights but I had to pay for my one-night terrible experience. This hotel was rude and awful and an embarrassment to the Marriott/Sheraton brand. I plan on disputing the one night they charged me.…
I had a very poor experience staying here. Firstly, I arrived in the room upon check-in with wet towels on the sink and the carpet was stained with some white liquid — both of which I complained about to the concierge. They offered to change my room but they were only able to offer a smaller room than I currently had without offering a lower nightly rate so I refused. The dispensers in the bathroom that were labelled “Shampoo”, “Body Wash” and “Conditioner” all had the same product. I had asked the concierge if it was supposedly like that and they said no so they had called up housekeeping to fix it. As the staff came in, I was told that they were all supposed to be the same. The inconsistency is unacceptable as well as the quality of the toiletries/products provided. Most hotels would at least have a separate conditioner. On my second night, the heaters seemed to stop working so I was shivering all day. I had called to complain about it and they sent in an engineer to reset the system. The next day, it stopped working again. The shower took 5 minutes to heat up too. They had to call in the engineer almost everyday until I had grown tired of it and just slept in a cold room. Lastly, there was hair in the cups that they provided in the bathroom. This is absolutely not the kind of service I was expecting from the hotel as I have stayed in previous Marriott properties with decent to excellent experiences. The poor hygiene is just also very unacceptable.…
