This hotel was given such mixed reviews online. While it wasn't the nicest hotel I've stayed in, it definitely wasn't as terrible as everyone made it out to be. The superior queen room we were checked into were a lot more spacious than what people had previously described. Night Theatre District is not appropriate for anyone younger than 18 or...

Such a unique hotel. Room was so so small, the fridge was positioned in the room taking up so much space it was hard to get around one side of the bed. Loved he wall of curtains but realized quickly it was literally just a wall behind them and one tiny window overlooking a water tank on top of neighboring...

As most boutique hotels in new york, the room was rather small, but we had a great stay. Everything in the hotel is black&white designed. The staff is very friendly and helpfull. The best thing about this hotel is probably the location... only steps away from timesquare... so right in the center of manhatan...

Thank you for staying with us at Night Theater District. I'm very happy to hear such kind words regarding the staff. Our location is definitely one of our strong points, and surprisingly quiet for being so close to Times Square! Please feel free to give us a call directly for any future stays in NYC and we will be glad...

The room I got was very very small but, I am very aware that i was in NYC in the middle of Times Square, so you can't really expect much more. The lobby was modern and stylish and everything was clean. The staff was courteous and helpful.

Good for an affordable hotel in a prime location, lack of daylight really bothered me (understand though as it's called the night) but the window faced a wall and the lack of natural daylight was frustrating after a while. Friendly staff. Horrible old small lifts and compact room but worth it for the location.

Thank you very much for staying at Night Theater District and for taking the time for sharing your experiences. I'm very happy to see that you were satisfied with the staff and the location. Our location is one of our strongest aspects. If you felt the room was a bit dark the staff would have been more than happy to...

Chic hotel, but the room was SMALL!! We had a King bed. Room size was maybe 200 sq ft at the most. Upon entering the room, I thought OMG, I have to go down the hall for the bathroom. As we closed the door, the entrance to the bathroom was behind the door. No closet, No dresser. Hanging bar over...

I'm very disappointed to see that your stay was less than memorable. If you were unhappy with your room we would have done all we can to get you to a larger room that would be more to your liking. Night Theater District is a bit dark due to the theme, which is a bit on the gothic side. I...

First off if you've never been to NYC before and are walking to the hotel just beware its not the easiest place to find. Signage is there but doesn't really jump out at you. Our room was nice, not huge but pretty much in line with the size we've come to expect when traveling in large cities like this one....

I was greeted with a warm hug by Patrick, the concierge, who I had emailed before I arrived asking him advice & questions in relation to my stay. He couldn't have been more helpful and made our stay in New York the best ever! Yes, the hotel room might be abit small, but you are in New York after all...

We spend 5 nights here on the lead up to Christmas. The only good thing about this hotel is the location. On arrival we had asked to pay upfront for our stay. This was no problem but then without asking $200 extra was taking as a deposit from our account. Now I dont mind doing this, but the lady on...

My husband and I recently stayed here over the Christmas period for 7 nights. This would have to be the WORST hotel we have ever stayed at. Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.

“Very small room, only one robe. Safe in closet without light which makes access difficult. Great air conditioning during extreme heat wave. Excellent location. Unique decor which is why I was drawn to hotel. We sponsor a student from Kenya and I knew the decor would be appealing to her. Staff friendly and helpful (except not so much the clerk on duty at our arrival) Did not use the restaurant/bar because the pub across the street had a good and economical breakfast.”
