All in all the hotel met our needs, the location is great right on the doorstep of times square. The most disappointing part for us was upon arrival we were met with quite a curt receptionist, unfortunately we had an issue with our credit card when paying for the room as it hadn't been authorized to be used abroad yet....

You can't except a better location just a few minutes away from Times square. I stayed there for a week with my girlfriend and we couldn't sleep properly due to doors opening and closing, people talking and making love at times...and we are still a young couple. This is because the walls and room door are not soundproof. So we...

Did book the night hotel for this business trip to NYC. Location is good for midtown. Rooms are extremely small and you hardly have any view out of the windows. Guess that's why they call it Night Hotel as you just wanna be in the room the freshen up and sleep there. Rooms are clean and tidy. Staff is attentive...

The room was clean and comfortable, however it was tiny and very dark. The facilities were not very good, waited up too 20 mins to order some drinks at the bar and the wifi did not work. Staff were pleasant and helpful!

This hotel is smack in the middle of time square. You are within a 15-20 walk to Central Park. 15min walk to Madison square garden. It was our first time in the big apple and the subways are easy to take and are the best form of transportation. This hotel room is very small, has a dark gothic feel to...

I thought this hotel was relatively good value for the location but the "dark" "black" night theme was not very fun after a few days. Especially if you're over 40 and your vision is going, I do not recommend this hotel for you. Yes, rooms are small but they always are in Manhattan. Yes, walls are thin; my partner on...

Many thanks for taking the time to review your stay with us. I'm sorry to see that you felt the hotel was a bit too dark. The property does have a very "gothic" feel and many of our guests tend to like the décor. Thank you for the kind words regarding the staff and the service. We pride ourselves in...

The hotel itself, is a modern gothic - great atmosphere. The rooms are a bit small; however, we were in town for entertainment, not really looking for a luxury suite. Hotel staff was very accommodating with an abundance of local information for us. Everything was clean and in working order with the exception of the cable which continuously cut in...

We have just returned for a four nights stay at The Night Hotel which was booked as a complete surprise by my boyfriend -so for once I had no control but he chose well!. Location was fantastic. A stones throw from times square. We walked to local subways and attractions. The rooms we very well decorated. On the down side the rooms were tiny and very dimly lit so it was hard to make sure your make up was done ok. Also had a slight problem with the heating/air con. It was really cold...

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
